What's new

Where is Islam in Islamic Republic of Pakistan?

I guess the idea is to encourage to gain knowledge wherever that knowledge might reside, even that place is as FAR FAR away as China, or equally somewhere else.
This is what my impression is after I read at some site with some title like "one page guide of principles of Islam". It could be some interpretations of "what's the word, amam?" to make sure the people understand it, to make China as an example because China is far far away. I guess.
Any saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and God Almighty should be presented in its original context. It should not be modified in any way or form.

China is just an 'example' quoted by some. It should be treated as such.

However, when claims like these are made: Allah said to go even to China for knowledge.

Since when did Allah made this statement? Why are we attributing statements to Allah, which were not given by the Almighty? Why are we so obsessed with China?

This is the authenticated saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

"Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim."

The real reason behind sufferings of people in Pakistan is illiteracy. Illiterate people can be easily fooled and exploited by wrong doers. This is exactly what is happening in Pakistan.

.
thats wrong...

Without Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) Islam would be almost no where and thus their would be no muslim movement in India for a separate nation Pakistan.
Islam existed before Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Remember we say Hazrat Adam Alaihis salam. Prophet Adam Alaihis salam is the first man on Earth. Throughout the history of mankind, revelations by Allah Almighty to mankind have been same or similar.

However, Islam was completely revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by Allah Almighty, since him (PBUH) is the last Prophet of Allah Almighty. By this time, revelations from Allah Almighty were most comprehensive. And Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) indeed played a pivotal role in spreading the revelations of Allah Almighty in the world.

Regarding Pakistan:

The purpose of its creation was to give muslims of the subcontinent a secure place to live their lives according to principles of Islam. Quaid-e-Azam certainly deserves great respect for this great achievement. He gave the muslims of the subcontinent a great gift in the shape of Pakistan, and we can never repay him in this regard. The ideology behind creation of Pakistan rests upon the famed Two Nation Theory (orginally proposed by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan). We should be thankful to Mr. Sir Syed too.

Ruling in Islam

Ruling (al-hukm), reign (al-mulk) and authority (al-sultan) have the
same meaning which is the authority that executes the rules, or
it is the task of the leadership (al-imarah) which the Shar’a has
made an obligation on Muslims to establish. The task of al-imarah is to
avert injustice and to settle disputes that may arise. In other words the
ruling means the guardianship, as revealed by Allah. He says:
“Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those of you in authority.” [TMQ An-Nisa: 59]
And He also says:
“If they had only referred it to the Messenger and those among them with authority.”
[TMQ An-Nisa’: 83]
Therefore to rule is to actively look after the people’s affairs.
Since Islam is an ideology that covers the state, society and life as a
whole, the ruling becomes part of it, and the Muslims are commanded
to implement this ruling by establishing the state i.e. to govern by the
Islamic laws. A host of verses have been revealed in the Qur’an
confirming the obligation of ruling by what Allah  has revealed.
Allah says:
“So judge between them by that which Allah has revealed and follow not their
desires away from the truth that has come to you.”
[TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 48]
He also says:
“Judge between them by that which Allah has revealed and follow not their desires
and beware of them lest they seduce you from some part of that which Allah has
revealed to you.” [TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 49]
Allah  says:
“Whosoever does not judge by that which Allah has revealed, such are disbelievers.”
[TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 44]
“Whosoever does not judge by that which Allah has revealed, such are oppressors.”
[TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 45]
“Whosoever does not judge by that which Allah has revealed, such are transgressors.”
[TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 47]
He  also says:
“But no, by your Lord, they can have no (real) faith until they make you judge in all disputes between them and find in their souls no resistance against your decisions,
but accept them with the fullest submission.” [TMQ 4:65]
He  also says:
“Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those of you in authority.” [TMQ An-Nisa: 59]
He  also says:
“And if you judge between people, judge with justice.” [TMQ An-Nisa: 58]
This is in addition to many other verses dealing with ruling as an
authority and power. Other verses have also been revealed providing
details with respect to the different areas of ruling; some regarding
military legislation, political legislation, criminal legislation, social
legislation and the legislation of transactions as well as others. Allah 
says:
“Fight those of the disbelievers who are near you and let them find harshness in you.”
[TMQ At-Tauba: 123]
He  also says:
“If you come on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who “So judge between them by that which Allah has revealed and follow not their
desires away from the truth that has come to you.”
[TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 48]
He  also says:
“Judge between them by that which Allah has revealed and follow not their desires
and beware of them lest they seduce you from some part of that which Allah has
revealed to you.” [TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 49]

back (their covenant) to them (so as to be) on equal terms.” [TMQ Al-Anfal: 57-58]
He  also says:
“And if they incline to peace, incline you also to it, and trust in Allah.” [TMQ Al-Anfal: 61]
He  also says:
“O you who believe fulfil the contracts (undertakings).”
[TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 1]
“And eat up not your property among yourselves in vanity, nor seek by it to gain the
hearing of the judges that you may knowingly devour a portion of the property of the
others wrongfully.” [TMQ Al-Baqarah: 188]
“And there is (a saving of life) life for you in (the law of) retaliation, O men of
understanding.” [TMQ Al-Baqarah: 179]
“As for the thief, both male and female, cut off their hands, as a retribution for their
deed and an exemplary punishment from Allah.”
[TMQ Al-Ma’idah: 38]
“Then, if they suckle for you, give them their due payment.”
[TMQ 65:6]
“Let him who has abundance spend of his abundance, and he whose provision is
measured, let him spend according to what Allah has given him.” [TMQ At-Talaq:7]
“Take alms of their wealth, with which you may purify them.”
[TMQ At-Tauba:103]
Thus, we find the broad lines of the legislation in its various aspect,
including the military, criminal, political and transactions evident in
hundreds of verses in addition to the numerous sound Ahadith of the
Messenger of Allah , which have all been revealed to be implemented
and executed. They have effectively been implemented in the lifetime of
the Messenger of Allah , the period of the Khulafaa’ Ar-Rashidoon, as
well as during the ruling of the Khulafaa’ who came after them. This
could only prove that Islam is a system for ruling and state, for society
and life, and for the Ummah and the individuals. It also proves that the
state has no authority for ruling unless it adheres to the Islamic system.
Islam would have no existence unless it was alive, represented by a state
that implements its rules. Islam is a deen (religion) and an ideology, with
the State and the ruling system being part of it. The State is the only
legal body that Islam has laid down to implement its laws and execute
them in public life. Islam would not exist without a state that implements
it under all conditions. Furthermore, the State is a political and human
entity, not a holy or spiritual one. It has no sainthood and its leader has
no infallible characteristics.
The ruling system is the one that determines the shape of the State and
its character, its foundation, pillars and bodies, and the basis upon which
it is built, together with the basic thoughts, concepts and the criterion
with which it looks after the affairs, as well as the constitution and the
laws it implements.

It is a distinct and unique system for a distinct and unique state, being
totally different from all other systems known to mankind whether in
terms of the basis upon which it is built or the thoughts, concepts and
criteria with which it deals with people’s affairs, or the shape that it takes
or the laws and constitution it implements.

You did not comprehend my post.

Someone brought up Not Prophet Mohammed PBUH Jinnah made Pakistan and we should go by Jinnah way of ruling.

I said it was because of Prophet Mohammed that Islam expanded so much and eventually reached India. Islam without Prophet Mohammed PBUH would be ALMOST no where. and without islam pakistan wont even exist.

and no one is trying to take credits away from jinnah and sir syed who fought for pakistan.

assalam alaikum

hizb-alda3wa's man Noori almaliki ruled the last 5 years in iraq they killed (drilling of head is their innovation) and created a mess. Then didnot mention anything about caliphate. I m sure a learned man like u don't know about the " tuqiwa " among them.

Regards

TARIQ

Dear Tariq... Nouri Al Maliki is a sell out... He was part of Hizb ud Dawah but the person that I was talking about is long gone and after his death the party did not maintain the ideals that he initiated the movement... Read about it in more detail, you ll find out what I m telling you...

Interestingly in my public speeches, some people from the Arab world have actually approached me and asked me if I was a member of Hizb ud Dawah... ;)

.
Can you list down some tangible actions of your organization that contributed to progess or development of muslim communities? Please dont include meetings, demos, publications....

In the recent floods in Pakistan our supporters have donated thousands of euros in sadaqah... we actually used the money to buy food and our own people distributed it in the affected areas...

As I said... You need to understand the difference between political and charity work... Our charity work does not come with a condition that people start supporting the Caliphate... The work for Caliphate is on a different level than the word done for helping out people in need... They are two separate things...

We do not believe in sects... For us Islam is Islam and differences of opinion based on Daleel are acceptable... These include all schools of thought... Sunni and Shia... So we shun all discussion of sects...

The book takes the most authentic material from Sunni literature because the work for Caliphate is within Sunni texts... However Shia are also invited to join our work and as I quoted before a lot of Shia did take up the work for Caliphate... one of our associates as I mentioned spoke three times to Khomeini for this purpose...

The system talked about in the book if you read it in detail is straight out of Shariah... You ll get plenty of references to Quran and Sunnah and Ijmaa e Sahabah in it...

JazakAllah Khair for asking...

Thank you for sharing your information.

I really believe you can be a great asset to Pakistan/Islam. the islam we find today in pakistan is distorted and more like a culture then religion. People use islam for their own purpose and throw away the rest. We need personalities who are appealing to the audience. (not like cat walk models) but someone who can convinces the public with words and actions and not the actions done by jahil mullahs who force islam on others while enjoy unislamic activities.
I think People in pakistan have great faith in allah but are not practicing islam the right way. the only thing need to be done is educate them with right stuff..

.
If I am not wrong, Islam allows muslims to appoint/choose a leader for them.

Democracy is also based upon this sole principle. It allows people to choose their leader.

So what is the issue here?

If both are the same system then why copy someone else system? Whats wrong with islamic system? are we not muslims?

another interesting fact in democracy. 10 illiterates can out vote 1 scholar. thats what is happening in pakistan.

These sect-like organizations are only talk, talk and talk....

They dont have any concrete long-term plans to multi-facial problems of muslims. All they want to have executive power first then they will start thinking about inplementing sharia. Very nice of them.

A temporary emergency work of flood relief and their larger than life claims to resurrect caliphate. Before, flood relief what was their achievement? Without 30-50 years detailed planning on education, economic welfare, political structure, caliphate/Sharia will remain hollow claims.

Systems are not wrong. people are wrong.

Place people like Zardari in any system, do you think that system will work?

Proper education would solve that which is lacking.
