What's new

Whatever

. . . .

Especially for the young boys and girls.Ban all the sugary drinks for yourself and see the difference.
May be replace it with the natural and seasonal fruit juices, coconut water or just simple water.
Or ask your mom to make some tasty Skunjbeen for you.Or may be learn how to make one for yourself. It won't fizz or sizzle but it'll taste good.Whenever in doubt about what you should drink & if it's healthy or not, a simpler solution is to go back to nature and consume the stuff it has to offer.

Fermented Honey and spices. Not much more Au Natural then that.

Good thats how our food is intended to be; unless you metamorph into Charizard after eating it; the amount of spice used wasn't right. :D

I find that the right amount of spice is when the bridge of your nose starts to sweat. But when you can't take more then two bites without needing to shovel a ton of ice cream in your mouth too because of the heat? Too much.

Maybe with a bit of sour cream Aloo Chaat will taste just like a hash brown?

A little cheese, some potatoes and spices, maybe a few chick peas too and viola, Aloo Chaat Hash Brown Casserole a la Norge.

Plus I dunno whether its a Norwegian thing but more of a European thing but you guys need to develop more tolerance for spices. :undecided:

It's a North European thing. Natural spices aren't very common in the colder climates of Scandinavia. Black Pepper, Juniper Berries and Caraway seeds are the commonly used spices in traditional Norwegian cuisine.

You may notice, none of these are very spicy, certainly not to the standards of South Asians.

Southern European cuisine tend to feature more spices, especially in nations along the Mediterranean. Cumin, coriander, saffron, cinnamon, cloves, chillies, and paprika aren't uncommon in cuisine imported from North Africa, which isn't too rare in the Southern European states.

Yeah you guys are usually blonde and blue eyed right with the average Norwegian woman tall enough to give the average NBA player a run for his money. :o:

Average Norwegian girl = Blondei Giantesson ! :undecided:

True and yet somewhat ironically, Nordic folklore is where popular culture gets its dwarfs from.

I guess when you're so tall and constantly whacking your head into the top of door frames, blocking the sunlight of smaller persons or using your exotic, totally native redhead significant other as an armrest you just kind of start fantasizing about being a short person too.

It's a burden I tell you. But someone has to bear it.

But yeah, we tend to be taller then average, and are very, very blonde.

Did I tell you I met a Danish girl at a university freshers party who was blonde, blue eyed and 6'7 - I felt like a midget next to her. :cray:

Aww, you'd have been cute together:smitten:. A giant Danish girl and a Pakistani midget, I call that a win.

Meanwhile to kiss my girlfriend I've got to stand on a chair:cry:.

Actually i'm a non-drinker.So, yes not that fun.Can't preach what i don't practice myself.:-)

I had applied that when i was a late teenager.I kind of loved the results of that.Tried to keep my promise during the graduation period but couldn't fully stick to it.Kept on checking the flavors of life and whatever was available in the market.Alcohol was still absent from the list.
My last favorite fizzy drink brands were Peach Malt and Lemon Malt by Murree Brewery.

http://www.murreebrewery.com/
Reasons:
1-Taste.(Did they spike it to make it more tasty, well frankly i don't know...:cheesy:)
2-They had a history.
3-With a minor change of route their factory in Rawalpindi would come right in my way from college back to home. So, like a thrifty little graduating lad i used to buy cartoons of my favorite drinks from the fair price shop.Loved it.:D

I was always weight conscious, and i had started to gain a bit.So, i had to discontinue later on.
Now being back on the good old seasonal fruit juices and stuff as i've mentioned (just like my teenage) i feel like i have been brought back to life. One can add nutrients according to one's physical activity. And above all if i get nostalgic and had to take an occasional drink (which doesn't have to be a 250ml ,could be a 100 ml) i usually make it up for it to counter for the extra added sugar.

Cheers!

@Mentee are you a law student? I want a lawyer to sort out my inheritance. Can you give me contact details of some law firm. I went into the office of a firm near my home but they said they only handle corporate matters. So i need a lawyer who does this inheritance thing.
