So why is it Tamil Nadu and not Tamizh Nadu ??

It's wrong. But then who cares much about spelling these days..anyway most people are going to pronounce it as Tamil Nadu only..because afaik except in Tamil and Malayalam the 'zh' sound is not there in any other major language in India.

Our school captain, my boyhood hero, was the grandson of the Nawab of Chhatri, and proud of his Rajput ancestry. So much so that sometime soon after school, he abandoned the 'Khan' in his name and used only the rest of it, saying he didn't want to be thought to be Pathan.

Yes Rajputs are a proud people... luckily my best friend or should i say my brother from another mother is a Rajput and im proud to have a friend like him.

i think the same.....there were problems in burma soo my father's family moved to East Pakistan & than the problem in East Pakistan my parents migrated to Karachi & now we are more than happy......

but my mom badly miss her days in East Pakistan & wanted to visit there one day....
