Hey thats not fair, how come? Pakistan has the license to build it, Its a joint development with China and Pakistan... So why do u have to Import the chinese version when you can make your version??

there are multiple reasons like PAC will adopt complete assembly of Thunders gradually over the years. until then it will be imported from China and will be produced in home as well to accelerate its induction.

Hey, Iam in no way Trying to be oversmart, was just shoked when u said U have to import and asseble in pakistan for JF-17... Thats it, all these days I was thinking Pakistan is manufacturing it.... Lol so do You Import JF-17? Ofcourse not, Pakistan makes JF-17 just like chinese because they jointly developed it, and it belongs to both... I did not doubt the JF-17 thunder.... I said Its engine.... Look at the engine part alone... Its neither chinese nor of pakistan... Its russian... ....

And So, LCA is trying to be an Indiginious figher, otherwise, how long will it take to reverse engineer a good plane?

Kindly see maverick's post and also read wht Rameex is saying..... maverick Himself said tht Hope in future LCA will able to make it then it will get inducted ...... No body is talking abt DRDO here.....

And yes .... I am 100% shore tht in future LCA will fly... because of ToT clause in MRCA Deal.... and even if tht also not work out.. then still doors are open for us to get best plane.....Money is not an issue all here.

Did I ever deny that fact.... And its only applicable for the first 40 LCA, next we are developing our own AESA FCR by Electronics and Radar Development Establishment...... And Kaveri Engine has been finished and now getting ready for its first flight, The link for that has been already given in this thread... So just dont get too over smart.
