This is what I have been telling ppl not to make so much hue n cry ..... We are not racing against Islamists who can chop off hand, trash some writers, desecrates Amar jawan Jyoti n so on....

Those who felt too agitated by such statements must counter these so called insecured ones the way we Aadi did to Mahanand Mishra...

We are nation n civilization where **** sculptures were erected on walls of temples in khujrao without slitting someone's throat....

Let us be what are known for centuries not succumbing to our wild outrage though we must counter these elements in our society by having a fight at ideological level only .....

So protesting against calling the entire society "intolerant" is "becoming Taliban" or making "hue n cry" ?

Why is even a comparison make with the "taliban" ? What greater insult can there be ?

Would you share the same sentiment if someone compared your Mother to a Prostitute ?

Why such double standards ?

Not everybody is a Shankaracharya nor are their opponent Mandala Mishra (assuming that is what you meant)

What do you mean by "Wild Outrage" ? posting twitter and Face book protests ? protesting outside somebody's house ?

Javed Akhtar has insinuated that in earlier times Hindus were mild and insults were readily tolerated. THAT is because Hindus were SECURE in India. Today they are NOT.

Today conversion has stirred poison in our society and has made Hindu society more insecure. The continuous insults on Hinduism has created a counter reaction. The throwing out of hindus from Kashmir and North East has made us aware of how vulnerable Hindus are in our OWN Country.

First make sure Hindu population do not dip further in India before preaching "tolerance" to Hindu society. WE have dropped from 85% to 80%. This AFTER giving Muslims their own country on the blood of millions of murdered refugies and tears of an entire region.

Its easy to preach when you are conveniently BLIND to the facts.
