While the nation fears terrorist attacks and mourns the victims of suicide bombers, a few brave Pakistanis are willing to confront the horror and sift through the rubble after a militant strikes.

Thanks to their efforts, the wounded get a second chance and victims of terror are treated with dignity. Without these unsung heroes, Pakistanis would have a much harder time moving on after each atrocity.
