its not even part of islam since the invention of loud speaker molvis said that time its haram un islamic but in recent decades its became part of mosques .

What next? Ban on islamic apps from smart phones since there were no phone 1400 years ago?

It's called use of technology to spread the word of Allah. Azaan is also a reminder to due your duty for which you are created for, which on most occasions people tend to forget when indulging in day to day life issues.

Lastly, there is saying of prophet(pbuh) that on hearing Azaan , devil run as far as he can.

for them every new thing is haram . it was molvis of south asia whom say load speaker is haram its voice of dunkey some 100 years ago not far ago video was haram now every mullah has channel . train and aeroplane was once haram . printing press was haram . in fact mullahs and their blind followers are licking what they spit .

I don't pray but my mother and brother do at important occasions.

And you have neither responded my mentioning of Lal Chowk nor read the thread I linked.

You seem to think that Islam is all about prayer and ritual. In that case perhaps you should become a Brahmin. Pray to your heart's content seven times a day.

i have never said Islam was all about prayer and ritual. its about that and everything else. problem with you is you ignore the prayer, ritual and a whole bunch of other stuff. then you lock in to the socialism aspects of islam that you like, then you mix it with communism, and then you call it true islam.

I am all against banning prayer azaan but on this decision I am all in favor of that indian judge.
From night 10 to 6 at morning there is no religious significance of blasting loudspeakers and didn't let people sleep. We too had such molvis in conjested neighborhood areas who just need a excuse to blast loudspeakers.
