Featured Uzair Baloch denies all murder charges

The most liberal Pakistanis (outside of the big 3 cities of Khi, Lhr and Isb) are in Gilgit Baltistan. Highest literacy rate, low infant mortality rate, high rates of women empowerment, high localized healthcare and education. But why are they ignored? Why don't they even register in the national narrative?

If there is any area that can be like Switzerland of Pakistan, it's GB. And I'm not talking in terms of tourism. I'm talking of following the Switzerland model- highly technical industries, high socioeconomic metrics, strong service sector companies.

On another note, the Makran coast can be another Sharm el Sheikh type Egyptian Riviera. Also a docking point for ships going to and out of the Persian Gulf.

But no we still stick to growing wheat and cotton for the rest of our lives because our establishment can't think outside the banks of Indus and their marlas, tubewells and majh mentality. And Kashmir ofcourse.

Isn't Pakistan's narrative molded and shaped by the establishment, most of whome come from the Indus region? The Gilgit Baltistanis want to be a part of Pakistan. They want to vote and have elected MPAs and MNAs but they can't because the establishment is so hung up on Kashmir. There is no voice for tribal Pathans, Balochs, Thari, Gilgiti, Muhajirs in the Pakistan narrative. Only Punjabi, Sindhis and urbanized Pathans from Mardan-Attock area decide the Pakistani narrative.

I am not blaming Punjabis. I am just saying Pakistan has a very centralized system. Every area has its own issues. Why is Thar overlooked when majority of Pakistan's coal comes from there? Or why is Waziristan overlooked? We are an agricultural cotton and sugar growing country because the establishment derives from that area and they can only think through their lens.

I think the problems are closer to home. All the regions you mentioned have elected representatives (apart from GB?). What have they got in return? Who do they keep re-electing? If Thar has coal and the federal government is not taking advantage of it, what is the Provincial government doing?

I'm not sure our politics is defined by region, i think it's defined by class. We have an elite class who live like Kings even when those around them are dying. That elite class covers all branches of the state, they support each other. One brother is in Noon-league, the next in PPP, the cousin is in PTI and the Mamu was in the army, and chachu was a judge. These sorts end up winners whichever side of the dice is rolled.

Nayi JIT bana la supreme Court. Chor dain ya saza dain judge sahab ki mrzi

saza to qanoon deta hai judge thori.
ab ye baat apki panchayt walon ko kese samjhaya jaye? khair ye batayen aaj kitni aurton per zulm hua gaon me?

Thank you government of Pakistan for educating them.

Bibi konsi dunya mein reh rahi ho? Goverment of Pakistan ka contribution almost zero hai. Thank you Aga Khan Foundation and Ismaili NGOs.

Yes. Is hammam mein sab nangay hain. Military, politicians, bureaucracy, judiciary. All of them constitute an old boys club. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Meanwhile drinking our blood, the common Pakistanis that is.

No particular community has been badmouthed in this post, or in any other post of mine

Anyone (regardless of what ethnicity he is) who abuses Punjabis, or any other community/ethnicity as a whole, is an arsehole of the highest order

Agreed?
Point out any badmouthing here please regarding my post ...

one more patch up with PPP ....
Unfotunately, JITs has no value in the court of law, courts see these investigation one sided/biased. Truth can only surfaced if court take suo moto action and call in all parties and all parties who signed these JITs. Otherwise, govt will take the benefit of this JIT to push PPP to abandon 18th amendment from constitution. MQM already ready to vote against, only PMLN and PPP are the issue.
Otherwise, Nabeel Gabol and Habib Jaan fight over live show, creating more doubts. It is all giving the impression that Nabeel Gabol talking on behalf of .....

After seeing above posts i must say we punjabis need ptm mqm and sindudesh like ethnic org for Punjabis. Its time we reciprocate in same manner.punjabis dont have any ethnic org which is need of the time.

It's not just you I see more and more punjabis asking why we don't have any organisations or political party representing our interests. All the other provinces have theirs ANP, MQM, PPP, BNP etc.

All the other provinces have by and large not served they people and when their constituents rightfully ask for jobs, basic health care, schools, law and order etc they simply blame us punjabis to hide their own failings and corruption.

This state of affairs has gone on too long pretty much unchallenged hence it had emboldened the bigots even more.

Mods my post deleted for ethnic reasons.... But this guy openly allowed to abuse Urdu speakers?

Is it PAKISTAN defence forum or Punjab defence forum?
did you report any of the posts in this thread?? why continue to feed the troll & abuse in retaliation?

@M. Sarmad , @StormBreaker .. this all debate ends on dissolving 18th amendment. No one can run the govt in presence of this amendment. no point to have heated debate please ... PTI govt is broke and provinces , specially Sindh refused to collect taxes for federal govt.... And reaction came in the form of Ali Zaidi speech in NA.

In the mean time enjoy PindiBoy ...
