Every thanksgiving that comes by you have people who talk about the death of the natives, there is no denial here mate.
Actually you are wrong, mongols were known for their disease warfare.
Yeh , true . US was always a white country ...and never ever had Red Indians . The stories about native red Indians is utter lie .
Aztecs , Mayas , Incas may never have lived in US ....but red Indians did ....and over a hundred millions of them were eliminated ruthlessly by White invaders ....
those who survived the pogrom ...were forced to change their identities ....
This is the truth that US ignores .
The world's largest genocide didn't happen in Hitler's Germany ( as west portrays it ) ....but in fact it happened in US ( the land of liberty ) !!!
That was because Native Americans didn't have good immune systems when they were exposed to the Europeans. So they were exposed to diseases such as small pox, etc. which led to them dying.
And why are you so concerned about Native Americans?
There is evidence to suggest that the diseases , starvation were used systematically as weapons against native Indians ....
as a humanist I am concerned of oppression everywhere ...This assumes particular importance when it happens in the backyard of the world's self proclaimed policeman .... who does not pull any stops when it comes to preach whole world about humanity , human rights , values , democracy and what not !
But we did and like it or not, we did it far better in our house than many others did in their houses.US which pretends to be beckon of humanity and freedom and human rights and preaches whole world about same ..should do some house hold repairs first !!!
Har...It irritate you because people believes US on what we say about US than they do about other countries, particularly the ones back during the Cold Wars that have the word 'Democratic' in the titles but had nothing 'democratic' in practice.that's what irritates me ....
Yeah...Suuuuuure you are...as a humanist I am concerned of oppression everywhere ...This assumes particular importance when it happens in the backyard of the world's self proclaimed policeman .... who does not pull any stops when it comes to preach whole world about humanity , human rights , values , democracy and what not !
Good for you but you are 200-300 years too late.
Why don't you instead focus your energies on persecution that's occurring in the present than worrying about something that happened 300 years ago.
...
as a humanist I am concerned of oppression everywhere ..t !
As if you can back that up with credible scientific and statistical analyses...The oppression continues even today ...
That's the biggest issue ...
US has waged more wars , killed more innocents than any other country ...in fact it will exceed even if we put those killed by all countries together ...
You can't extricate ...past from present .
It has important bearing upon present and so also on future ...
Past , present and future are part of continuum of time ...
by studying past we can amend our present and so our future .
Because those who do not study history are condemned to repeat it !!!
Yeah...Suuuuuure you are...
If you are a humanist -- a real and true one -- you would admire US. If anything, you really have no choice but to admire the US as a political state and the Americans as a people. But the reason I do not take your claim to be a humanist seriously is because you are ignorant of the fact: That a people and its government have jurisdiction only inside its borders.
That mean the best measurement and metrics to judge a country and its citizens is how the government treat its citizens and how the people treats each other based upon their values. Inside the borders, those values will be debated, taught, and either enacted into laws or not. Outside the borders, those values can only be expressed, not imposed.
If we are to use how the logic and methods on people criticize the US and Americans, then we should call God, in whatever his incarnations, as the greatest Hypocrite of all time and geography. After all, God is Master of the Universe, right? He preaches peace and love. Make love, not war. Etc...etc...And yet look at the sorry mess the world have been since He created it.
So please...Spare the few Americans here your pretentiousness.
... I doubt you can call anyone out on their ancestry (me? German-Brit-Norwegian-etc.etc.)
Yeah...Suuuuuure you are...
