The Americas is a term that combines the two continental landmasses of the Western Hemisphere; North and South America. I said that with the exception of Canada and the US, a large majority of most countries in The Americas are of predominately mestizo ancestry (to varying frequencies).
For example, Mexico is overwhelmingly mestizo, as are the Central American states; Brazil is around 50% mestizo and 10% Negroid, with Whites making up close to 40% of the population. On the Southern Cone there is a larger predominance of Whites, especially in Uruguay and Argentina, but there are still quite a few mestizos lurking about (even if they don't want to admit it).
