One thing apparently seems clear that US is not ready nor can afford to leave Afghanistan at all. It seems like US/NATO will privatize Afghan War through Mercenaries as they wouldn't leave this Buffer-Zone unattended rather will try to expand disruption throughout the region or at-least in Afghanistan possessing big threat to all neighboring countries.

Afghanistan holds importance in this region for western allies to keep their presence & fueling unrest which can help them to escalate civil wars, terrorism or private war against Rivals especially Russia, China & Pakistan and try to engage them to exhaust.

Iraq & Libya are clear examples in this regard that after initial invasions in the name of so-called democracy/liberation & war on terrorism, the peace has never returned nor NATO left the country except for the losses for Civilians on top.

There have been talks regarding possibility of Privatized War through Black Waters and then, as it is observed that even UK G4S is already present on ground in Afghanistan. Analytical view of situation suggests that US/NATO are already building tactical sites in Afghanistan which clearly indicates about larger scale war in up-coming days. However, Afghanistan ruling party does not want any peace or at-least compromise with Taliban which is actually a threat to all sort of corruptions by ruling elites at the moment that empowers warlords to the fullest either part of Government or outside.

For the first time, I agree with Zaid Hamid.

We have lost too much credibility with Taliban playing to the American whims. Taliban are a force on ground and in war torn Afghanistan, we need to back a certain player as the US installed government is weak and lacks legitimacy in the eyes of many Afghan warring factions, biggest being Taliban.

Let better sense prevail and stop parroting 'Taliban are terrorists' or else we lose all of Afghanistan and its control will into hands of forces not known to be friendly to us.

Very true! America in Afghanistan is not an agent for peace. Its an agent for controlled chaos to perpetuate its stay.

Actually, told them the first day that whatever Pentagon is up-to, does not exist in Military Books to counter terrorism. Even those Generals were not ever aware as why US attacking Afghanistan like full fledged war. Pakistan has been telling them about possible and right solution but on other hand, Elites had other games to execute their plans. It is unfortunate that very less speaks of the right thing that there was no reason for US alone to invade but, there were parties behind the curtains pushing through CIA to go in like they did in Iraq & Libya.

Mossad wouldn't leave Afghanistan and for the same reason, like many times before; will fool US Establishment through CIA for their sacrifices merely to feed Israeli great plans. The thing wouldn't stop here, hence, Pakistan pulled out after a lot of sacrifices & US betrayal. Now US too understood that can't continue as such. I had those observations, though penned down. Only peaceful Afghanistan will serve both nations. May be US needs an scapegoat to save face back at home after all, NATO is done with usual program of invade, kill and sabotage a nation.

An educated person knows, this is the impact of past ad hoc economic policy. For example Shahbaz and Nawaz spent 2 billion dollars on Orange line from CPEC funds. How and who will pay the debt , orange train still not ready to launch.

Pakistan should stay away from Trump's request.They just want to make sure that Pakistan and Taliban got their ties completely ruined before they leave.Afghan govt. on the other hand is not pro Pakistan and will not miss any chance to bite Pakistan (I assume, Allah(SWT) knows the truth).
Instead, Pakistan should quietly needs to support Afghan Talibans against other Indian trained nexus and should help them to eliminate their non-govt. foes by effective information sharing and provision of arms and ammo.In addition to that, Pakistan should also avoid giving anti-Afghan remarks and should support Afghan govt. superficially. Strong pro Pak talibans and pro-Afghan attitude from Pakistan will further condense Americans to tables.
Why I am writing this? The reason is as follows:

• Trump's non serious attitude.
• Rejecting Pakistani sacrifice and loss of lives.
• American bi-polar relationship with Pakistan: Asking Pakistani officials for peace talks on one hand and killing same leaders on the other hand.This clearly shows that US wants to make sure that no door should be left open for Pakistan and Afghanistan.
• Every tribe, government official, laymen in Afghanistan ended up loosing trust on Pakistan and anti-Pak sentiments brewing against us which will then be helping our counterparts to fuel nexus against Pakistan.

Hence, Pakistan needs to check if Americans are really looking for back door or are on verge to create another front against Pakistan.Pakistan needs to make decisions after careful analysis.If American regime is intended to play geopolitical game against Pakistan or simply policy is not favoring Pakistan, then Pakistan needs to turn around towards Afghan Taliban, quietly and swiftly.
