You will see canard and delta for high speed interception not Multi-role fighter. J20 has only only front stealth design and will be inducted to intercept and attack only early warning systems and Mid Air refueling .

So you cannot use Rafale for air superiority. F-16 will beat the hell out of it. RAFALE is for just firing AAM and going back home

It's better for UAE to sell off their M-2000s to Taiwan and even Egypt and Qatar should do the same. Where as all M.E countries should help Yemen in getting JF-17s, K-8, and Super Mushak along with UAVs from Pakistan.

It was non starter from the word go

Not because they will not get sold ....They will get sold .

But they will be sold for seriously expensive money compared to what Pakistan can or is willing to pay.

And their more serious buyers Way ahead of Pakistan already with the issue of cash bring no issue at all .Pakistan will stick.to it's tried and tested methods thunders witn soft loans and low cost used falcons being retired globally.

If they ever get grant aid again from.usa they may go for new block 52 in very very very small no ie 8 or 10 planes.

There approx. 57 OF these planes in service.

UAE us negotiating a $15 billion dollar deal with FRANCE to buy 60 RAFALE F3 as its next generation fighter

The deal is expected to be signed before end of 2018 and deliverys begin 2021...

2021 is when the UAE will start to phase out the Mirage 2000/5

SO FAR the Following countries who all OPERATE EXISTING SIMILIAR MIRAGE 2000/5 have exprsssed an interest in striking a deal for these awesome machines. I HAVE RANKED THEM in ORDER of most likely

1. France will take all existing mirages as part exchange for $15 billion deal..
2. Egypt has expressed interest in buying them
3. Taiwan was looking at them to double their fleet
4. India has excellent relations with UAE and would effectively double the fleet.
5. Iraq has in some quarters already struck a deal.
6. Pakistan is looking at them as fleet upgrade of the mirage5 they have hd had for four decdes
