No possible. The cost will be so high that building new one will be even cheaper. The radar is different. The VLS is different. Just these 2 major component will cost most and not including the refrubished/redesign cost.

China most likely will sold these 6 Type052C destroyer once enough number of Type 055 cruiser enter service.

I don't think so.........China has far older Destroyers than the 052C that will be disposed of first. Remember the last 4 052C'S are new ships, with the last 1 or 2 being commissioned after the first 052D. They are even at present top notch warships, and i doubt very much they will see major weapon upgrades.
