Turkmenistan Armed Forces

Looking at some terrain map, the borders of Turkmenistan and Iran seem to be mountainous on the side of Iran. So i dont think Iran can quickly pour in its land based forces if Turkmenistan can keep them pressured and pinned down in the mountainous regions. However since Turkmenistan is in the disadvantage with numbers, it's a must to have technological advantage. A small, but professional, well co-ordinated and technological army packs more punch in this age, so that's where Turkmenistan should aim at. In the end Iran will win if it is 1 vs 1, but i dont believe Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Israel, Russia, the Arab world will sit still and just watch Iran.

With ISIS rising as a power , Iran is very cautious about starting a sectarian war. They would be crushed very badly. Especially if Turkey takes out Iran air force and air defence.

Well, there is no problem with increasing number of your tanks, IFVs, ... there are always more number of soldiers than equipments in any country. You can keep the same number of soldiers if you want in that case.

well think 1000 tanks will be ok they have already 700 t-72 so maybe it's better they buy some 300 tank here is the thing they should do

buy 300 altay

buy about 400 t-155 frintna
these mobile badasses will be great guardians

buy about 500-1000 otokar cobar
i have seen turkmen border guards car they use normal cars which wont protect them from light arms fire

buy some 50-80 TAI anka

buy some 100-150 t-129

buy some 100 mil mil 24

buy some 60 black hawk

buy 80 mil mil 17

but some limited The MH-6 Little Bird for special forces

turkmenistan has few scud missile they need buy 200-300 The 9K720 Iskander with this they can hit their capital

turkmenistan should build some radar stations and buy some The EL/M-2080 Green Pine

they need buy some s400 system

buy some 100 The BM-30 Smerch

and some truck for transporting large number of soldiers

this will be all for land force i guess

Anka is too expensive for Turkmenistan

yeah im greatly looking for this turkmenistan dont have much helis nither attack nor transport one they need buy some helis and ohh about that 10 mil i hear one of the crashed recently so more accurately turkmenitan has 9 mil

there are always Chinese UAVs,
pretty much one of the few countries openly willing to sell armed UAVs
