You can cry as much as you want... But EU will never accept Turkey... Turkey could be the best democracy aroudn the world , the richest country in the region.. it will change nothing... It's a Muslim country

Turks could all convert to Catholicism tomorrow it still wouldn't make a difference. This has nothing to do with Islam. Turks are forever the bitter enemies for Europeans. Europeans will always mistrust us. it's just the way it is.

Mistrust come from past conflicts... New generations are already on the train since then...
But to this day... Islam is the main subject of why TR should not come in...

Those against TR in EU do not speak about Democracy or else... only about fear of "Islamisation" &" Islam having free pass in EU"

Don't forget that if TR come into EUrope... that's mean EU will be around 20% Muslim... as for 2017-2020.. in 2050 at this rate (pew research) with TR inside it's around 30...

ps: not even putting those 6+Mil muslims in the % from the Balkans since they are not in EUnion..

Like I said, even if we weren't Muslim, they'd still not let us in this European Union. We just happen to be Muslim and people get ideas in their heads about Islam. You really do not know the history between Turks and Europeans as an outsider.

I do... Here in France we do not speak about Turks on the "History" you may think...
First Turks diaspora is very limited in France, and the only thing ppl do not want Turkey to be inside EU, is bc of religion...
They do not speak about that conflict or else... even the old generation don't even know about it...

ps: remeber that it's France who mostly opposed his veto on TR in EU... with Sarkozy..

ANd if you jump on history thing... remember that the FRanc kingdom was the first and strongest Ottoman ally in EU... at some point of history...

Ottomans was allies with Byzantine Empire too for a bit. And we know how that turned out.
And this whole strongest ally with france thing was because we had a rivalry with the Germans at that time in history. It made sense for us to form a short alliance with France. Same thing we did with the Swedes v Russia. And then Germany v the rest of the world lol. We always looked at our own interests whenever we decided to pick allies in EU back in history, still the same to this very day.

TR has everything worth to join EU, when you see 3rd world country like Romania/Bulgaria and so on joining EU... you know something is not right... Even Montenegro has better chance to join EU than TR...
Bosnia+Albania will not join EU, they do not want them... when their poorer neighboor countries have joined it...

Romanian , like bulgarians are seen like cockroach who came in West Europe to steal jobs of the native ones... They are the new Polish of EU... West Europe do not see tham as True EUropean neither worth being in EUrope...

Well if you want to believe it..so be it...
But if you have time to check Presidential speech of EU countries about TR integrating Europe.. you will see that History or enemy are shown nowhere.. only Islam / Islamisation/ Door to Islam/ No more Democracy with Sharia etc...
