Turkiye will totally change the rules of game in region: TF-X MMU Stealth Fighter

There is. Rafale is 100% domestic. Su-35 is 100% domestic. F-15 is 100% domestic. F-18E is 100% domestic.

And SAAB delivers parts to the F-15, F/A-18E, and the Typhoon, so neither are 100% indigenous.
As usual You show your ignorance. There are other non US manufacturers like BAE Systems.

 Everyone is claiming building 5 generation fighter now, build your own F-16 first then boasting something on the paper.

Turkey has been building its own F-16s since the late 1990's. Certain F-16 customers even received Turkish made F-16 for their armies as well. In fact, %10 of all F-16's built around the world comes from Turkey.

It might even beat the cheap copies from china, who knows

Turkish made F-16s won most Awards for being built to dimensions regarded as being 'Perfect', since not every hand made F-16 were built to exacting dimensions due to various human errors and other factors involved.

F-16 is not a Turkey aircraft. Turkey just assembles it. The main profits are still attributed to the US, so it is clear that cheap copies or cheap assembled products are Turkey.

Now even Turkey can assemble an aircraft??

.
Waiting for Turkey to produce its own aircraft and then export.
Oh sorry, I was too high expectations of Turkey?

Wow. The whole world is laughing. Turkey produces aircraft???

I do net get your point.. you have a problem with turkey trying to build an aircraft? even if they dont make it at least it will benefit us in technology.. the fools are the ones who dont try anything or just buy stuff

you just jumped at that lonly trolls pointless orgasms..

I know why your nickname is lonelyman :D

Don’t get me wrong, I applaud turkey efforts to develop her own MIC and be independent, but your hot headed overly optimistic country man easily get offended while I point out leapfrog to 5th without 4th experience is doubtable, at least don’t boast a PowerPoint slide. They then resort to usual China cheap copy attack.

As a matter of fact, we have no beef with turkey currently, I will not talk anymore

MMU planned roll-out date is 2023, the first flight schedule is 2026, and the intended date is for the end of the 2030s. In other words, when the conceptual studies are taken into consideration, 27-29, together with all sub-systems, is aimed at an accumulation of approximately forty years

Can TAI-TEI-Aselsan-Havelsan all of theirs ecosystem carry of a successful fighter jet program? To give the answer to this question, first of all we need to have a little knowledge about capacities of these companies and joint coordination structure.

It is not correct to compare the existing aviation industry ecosystem in Europe with isolationist industrial clusters such as Russia.

China's aviation engine work (above turboprops) has continue since 70s. That means a great experience. However, Russian derivative engines are still used predominantly. probably, China's indigenous engines will gain majority in the period of 2030-2040.

But the main challenge for China is the isolation of its military industrial structure. They did the reverse engineering and derivative work to the extent that no country in the world had ever tried, until the present design capability emerged.

The TAI (and KAI which is a relatively close example in eastern Asia) did not struggle with these challenges.

As the local integrator and subsystem suppliers of the global leading manufacturers, the production standards were increased in this common structure.

Today, TAI supplies subsystems or structural products to all major aviation giants, mainly Lockheed, Boeing and Airbus. They are also the main contractor with ASELSAN in order to create products in the western aeronautical standard for companies whose supply chain is corrupted due to political issues, like Antonov.

Like TAI, KAI worked as a supplier and integrator of Lockheed and Boeing in the 80s and 90s.

These two countries could be successful in their projects? there are many factors that will determine it. But the fact is that both countries have not improved their capacity by reverse engineering and stolen, but by joint industrial cooperation under military / political alliances. Therefore, deep co-operations with western aviation companies will continue.

Both countries have different disadvantages and advantages. As I understand it, both countries are aware of this.

Turkey began MMU in 2011 as an official project. However, the steps for developing the avionics, component and material technologies and manufacturing processes standards have been going on since the early 2000s. Even in this forum you can examine hundreds of different products in avionics and sub-materials. On the other hand, The issue of integration and system engineering is already an area that TAI has proven itself worldwide.

2011-2018 period, especially TAI and TEI's design capability was the process of preparation. In addition, the necessary legislation and incentive packages were issued during the same period and the project was secured until 2035.

.
It is more reasonable to see two variants with slightly difference in design and relatively upgrade inside dependent on the engine configuration(s), and planned projects.

The first one is probably to be the export variant, which is again probably the reason GE has compromised.

The second variant will have much to offer after the experience gained from the first one and matured new projects.

The technological enhancement in the second variant is also to be the reason friendly countries to be in the project or acquire some first variant.

Just another thread being misused for China big hurr durr.
@waz it seems like there is an action plan for troll hunting in ME section lately, there are some new candidates here, we are sick of reading pages after pages with Chinese ranting, pls tell them they should do their ridiculous phallus mesurment in Chinese section.
Thx in advance.

@waz @The Eagle @WebMaster It seems They see Turkish industry a strong rival so attacking on such nice threads but please take a look those Chinese strong fanboy team to keep them away from Turkish threads and advice them to type their “strong” thinkings somewhere else. This section needs close moderation to keep such delusional guys out of such informative threads. Otherwise, there won’t be a thread that members can exchange their ontopic thoughts regarding main subject.

I'm going through the thread now, i'll put it back on topic soon.

.
No more off-topic rubbish regarding politics, no more nonsense such as your tech is crap and so on.
If you haven't got an intelligent technical point to add, don't use this section as a turf war.

LOL After China test F31 and J20, a lot of countries start to make a 5th generation fighter. Here is the club member list! A warm welcome to Turkey to officially join the 5th generation fighter creation club!

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, Japan, seeking to replace its aging fleet of fighter aircraft, began making overtures to the United States on the topic of purchasing several Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighters.

Thank you for welcoming us. That was a quite long and weird welcome, but do you have a point?
