The source in turkish says that TSK had mining activities there but are they still there I dont know. Maybe part of the preparations for the defence layers of the border.

Military option is always the last option, look at the Cyprus war how long Turkey waited, what international players did how we had do with only half of the Island.
The army knows best but I think we should wait until these rodents bleed each other out in Raqqa, we should help it much as we can by incursions and shell, make them think they are getting attacked.
