Turkish Nucleur Bomb

I have read somewhere that we have 10-20 nucleur bombs given by US that can be used by us and this can be used by the ''Ceylan'' 142 av-bombardiman filo . ( i cant remember the source)

Also its said that by some Turkish people i spoke to , Nucluer bomb isnt needed in this day and age and nobody can use it as theres UN etc unless something very , very , very extreme.

Agreed..thats not an armoured vehicle that you can give/trade easily..There is NO Turkish Nuclear Bomb..There are only "American" nuclear bombs which are located in Adana Incirlik Base

Thats American Jupiter Missile. Was deployed in Italy and Turkey during the Cold War, Soviets replied by deploying their missiles in Cuba(Cuban Missile Crisis). Doubt Turkey still has them.

Firstly welcome to the Forums!

The title is very misleading. It implies that the American nukes located in Turkey are Turkish nukes... which is far from the truth.

so much BS here, Jupiter missiles were withdrawn after the cuban missile crisis everyone knows that. And B61s in İncirlik cannot be fired without both US and Turkish consent.

It is true that 20 B61s are "assigned" to a Turkish squadron but as i said, they can't be fired without US consent.

The Turks know Pakistan has got their back whenever they want to start enrichment, but as of now they are well respected and don't need any nuclear weapons.


But to say the Turks don't have the technology at all is ridiculous. There are lot of back room dealings between Pakistan and Turkey, and the Turks are already very proficient in science and R & D.


It's not a matter of how for Turkey, but a matter of when.

Turkey having nuclear weapons would shift the balance of nature in the region.

Of course the Greeks would start crying even though they are hardly a threat.

Israel would be the main whining sissy.

Armenia would start to cry as well.

The Turks already have an advantage in conventional warfare, but a nuke would give zionist lobbies the opportunity to start demonizing Turkey.

Obviously the French would jump and join in on that because they are natural racists.


It's very interesting to speculate the shifts of foreign policy if Turkey did in fact go nuclear.


One thing is for sure, It wouldn't be with the blessings of Nato.

Most likely Pakistan would help.
