Dearsan announced that the new Armed Unmanned Marine Vehicle project is nearing the end.

With this development, after the partnership of METEKSAN-ARES Shipyard and ASELSAN-Sefine Shipyard, Dearsan became the 3rd shipyard in Turkey to share its works on Armed Unmanned Marine Vehicles with the public. In addition to these, Yonca-Onuk shipyard is working in this field, but they have not shared their concepts with the public yet.

I recommend to defense enthusiasts for follow the developments in Turkey who really interested these type platforms. Because competition between shipyards already begun. As is known, platforms such as the TF-2000 destroyer, which is included in the near future planning of the Turkish navy, are designed to function in integration with such unmanned systems. In other words, not only territorial waters or maritime patrol misions, Turkish defense industry's unmanned sea vehicles concepts will have a very broad spectrum, just like aerial systems.

@kursed @JamD I imagine we should probably keep an eye on these projects in relation to the PN.

"ASFAT, which started to work with the support of the shipyards general directorate and Istanbul Pendik shipyard command to meet the need for two offshore patrol vessels of the navy, started the project on August 15, 2021. The project, which was designed and started to be produced with a very high locality rate, will be realized 40% below the expected budget and in a much shorter time than the target."

As domestic production functions increase, such decreases in platform-based costs begin to occur. A navy structure based on ready-made and 'foreign' procurement cannot compete with a navy that can use domestic production for its needs in the long run.

Without a doubt, a great achievement for our navy.

"3 new ships of the Istanbul class, which were put out to tender, will be produced at the same time."

3 ships will be put on the slipway at the same and will be launched in the same period. Domestic production capabilities have such an advantage and the rival navy cannot respond to this by purchasing ships from foreign sources.

There is very little left to meet.

The number of Shipyards in Turkey have risen to 83 from 37 between 2003 and 2021

if needed , Turkey can build 1 Aircraft Carrier , 1 LHD and 20 Warships (Corvettes , Frigates , Destroyers) in 5 years

only Turkey can do it in the region... ( not Greece , not Egypt , not İsrael )

TCG UFUK Intelligence Ship .... ( only a few countries in the world )

The poster includes the TCG Ufuk, its official Patch, and some basic information about the project.
The project has a 70% locality rate.
194 different companies took part in its construction.
The project was officially launched in 2017.
It will be the home of 110 personnel at sea.
The ship will be able to serve 60 days at sea without resupply.

BREAKING: President Erdogan says the tender for Turkey's TF-2000 class Air Defense Destroyer will be issued soon.

Despite the conditions created by the pandemic, the navy is on track to meet its Vision 2033 targets.

Erdogan: "We used to buy the vertical launch system from abroad, now we have the national one. In Istanbul which is under construction, and in our other three frigates for which we are bidding, there will be a national vertical launch system and missiles"

Within the TF-2000, there will be phased array radar technology Aselsan ÇAFRAD, which can simultaneously track thousands of targets and perform three-dimensional mapping, and the nationally and locally developed GENESIS ADVENT Combat Management System. The TF-2000, will carry the national anti-ship missile Atmaca, the Aselsan torpedo hard-kill Tork, and the GEZGIN long range cruise missile that can hit sea-land elements from 1000-1500 kilometers away, and will be equipped with many more ammunition and other navionics.

So we will have:

- 15+ subs the oldest one will be Preveze class, i assume Atilay will be decommisioned after Reis class is operational. After 2030 We will see Milden then our Preveze class will decomissioned. And how many we will make mini subs is the questions. So it will be 15+ susb.

- Corvette ships, OPV is corvette? 4 Ada class and then Hisar class. So 14 Corvette ships. Burak class will go out of the game, or are we going to modernize it?

-15 modern Frigatte 4 I class will join the navy, that means old Yavuz class out. We will have 8 modern multi mission Frigatte. Gabya class will decomissioned after TF2000 joins the navy. Or should we call TF2000 one class higher ship like Destroyer? Our corvette class ships will used for costal operations and the bigger ships will be used like Libya cases over the world.

-19 FAC ships, we have 10 old FAC ships. The 10 FAC will replace old ones and we will stay with the 19 FAC ships. Kilic class joined the navy begin of 2000. They are not so old for now.

It seems enough for now, how about Black sea? Imagine if we foud huge amount gasfields what will trigger claims from our neighbours? More Frigatte for the navy?

-Aircraft carrier, Hurhet and Mius will be used.

- Ulaq how many?

- 2 Drone Ship with TB3 and Ulaq.

Seems realistic inventory for 2030+.
