PN & Russian Federation Navy (RFN) conducted bilateral naval Ex Arabian Monsoon-VI in NAS.
PN Destroyer, Offshore Patrol Vessel, Fast Attack Craft (Missile), a Maritime Patrol Aircraft & UAV participated in the exercise alongside RFN ships.

Key highlight was participation of PAF fighter aircraft in various serials. Exercise featured multi-faceted maritime warfare serials & coordinated patrol,
aimed at enhancing interoperability & demonstrating joint commitment to countering common maritime security threats.

Earlier, RFN ships were hosted at Karachi, where cross-ship visits, harbour drills & table-top discussions were conducted.
RFN delegates also called on senior Pakistan Navy officials & paid tribute to the Founder of Pakistan by laying a wreath at Mazar-e-Quaid.
 
CNS Adm Naveed Ashraf chaired Command & Staff Conference of PN held at NHQ. Participants assessed evolving maritime situation in the region with focus on national security, geostrategic affairs & combat readiness. Progress on ongoing PN projects & future plans also reviewed.

CNS emphasized imp of maintaining perpetual combat readiness to effectively counter traditional & non-traditional threats in maritime domain & appreciated efforts in acquiring advanced platforms & technologies, expressing confidence in Ops prep to safeguard maritime frontiers.

 
Induction ceremony of 4th Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) PNS YAMAMA held at Jinnah Naval Base, Ormara. CNS Adm Naveed Ashraf graced event as CG. Ship is equipped with modern stealth features,Command &Control, sophisticated weapons &sensors to operate in multi-threat environment.

CNS highlighted geo-strategic environment in #IO & stressed need for potent naval force to counter emerging traditional & non-traditional challenges & reiterated that YAMAMA will enhance PN’s capability to safeguard maritime frontiers & ensures safety &security in intl waters.

YAMAMA will enhance capability of seaward defence, protect SLOCs &order at sea. Induction at JNB underscores PN's reach on western seaboard,flexibility in ops,enhanced maritime security contributing to regional peace &stability, ensuring protection of maritime infra incl CPEC.

With enhanced reach and operational flexibility, Pakistan Navy stands ever ready to ensure regional stability

 
PN participated for 1st time in 8th Pak Army Team Spirit (PATS) Ex-25, a gruelling 60 hr patrolling challenge designed to test & enhance combat readiness & tactical skills. Ex was held in Pabbi, Kharian from 8–18 Apr & featured 24 teams from across the globe.

Teams of Pak Army, PN & 16 teams from friendly countries like Bahrain, KSA, Maldives, Morocco, Qatar, USA, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Belarus, China, Nepal, & Turkiye. Mil observers from Bangladesh, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, South Africa & Thailand also attended.

Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir honoured the event as Chief Guest. While interacting with PakNavy team, he commended their maiden participation and encouraged continued involvement in future editions.
