Turkish Land Vehicle Programs

Electric engines have high Tork. Tesla has long range, speed and fast acceleration.
Is the electric engine of Katmerciler vehicle always active or only at demand ? That would be interesting to know.
If you read it, you will have the answer. It's Electric and hybrid. So on demand.

Btw why do you give a source as Tesla? Nonsense.
 
The another ambitious vehicle from IDEF was the Nurol MMS 4x4.
It weights 8 tons and its height 2.1 m.
The vehicle's 300-hp turbocharged diesel engine generates 813 Nm of torque, a top speed of 140 km/h, and a range of 700 km.
They targets 150 km top speed.
Low silhouette and fast vehicle with modular chassis.
I think NMS 4x4 is a lot different from Cobra, Pars etc.

You left out the most important part, composite armor.

NMS is far away from a cobra... Cobra I is old school now...

Cause electric hybrid vehicles technology was first developed on cars. Honda Prius was the first hybrid in serial production and had severe problems with electric drive. In the most developed country on hybrid cars Germany, there is the sophisticated BMW I8, its electric only range is 30 km, weight is 1.5 tons.
Tesla is the only electric driven car with dual electric motor front and rear AWD with almost 500 HP and weight 2.5 tons. Now you can calculate that its is not wise to build a hybrid at demand in a 16 ton vehicle , what for ?

There is nothing mentioned about HP or Kw , range and others. It seems for me a PR sheet.
How much HP the electric engine must have to move the maybe 16 ton HIZIR ? Nothing mentioned .
Also the original classic versions sheet is confusing, it is in Turkish/ Englisch but they use German abrreviation 400 PS, they talk about effective combustion but have only EURO 3, with EURO 3 you can't pass most big cities in Europe because it is a mudslinger.( They had to use HP in English and BG in Turkish. )
There are too much simple faults and too much expectations are aroused, that makes me suspicious.

Without proofable values and data nobody will order that vehicle and it will stay a protoype, as national hybrid car or TR-Jet which only existed on drawings. That's my point and not nonsense.

Note that it has more and instant full tork from 0. How much power do you need more?

I asked for data of the electric drive. No data available ?
Nurol NMS has 300 HP and 800 Nm tork. Katmerciler claims 400 HP and 1550 Nm, how ? Only with electric drive support .
The diesel engine is probabyl a low cost solution and not up to date.
We are in 21 th . century and not 1999 ( Euro 3 standart). How can they talk from perfect combustion, low emission?

I am the same opinion as Orko8 in his twits, only with contructive critics you can move something, not with PR without facts.

They newbees have no chanche on the international market against FNSS or Otokar, Nurol could be competitive.
BMC lives from Qatars financial participation and orders. I doubt that the others are ,at the current status,competitive.

Update : you edited your post good, now there are some facts, that could be checked and compared.
250 Kw = 340 HP
85 kw battery pack weight is almost 510 kg x 3 = 255 kw = 1,5 ton minimum battery weight.
Now we are round about with electric motor at 18 tons minimum. That means for mobility as we see in 8 ton NMC you need continous diesel and electric power.
Who produces the battery ? Lifecycle ? For comparison Tesla Panasonic NCR18650B cell 8 years unlimited kilometers. That are vital facts we need to check the feasibility.

Unfortunately they don't give all information yet.
