Not getting the F-35's means we killed 50 years of air force capabilities. Nothing but absolutely nothing can fill the role of the F-35. LHD's can easily carry VTOL or CTOL UAV's but our air force has been under constant coup for the past 20 years.

"Bütün bu şeraitten daha elim ve daha vahim olmak üzere, memleketin dahilinde, iktidara sahip olanlar gaflet ve dalâlet ve hatta hıyanet içinde bulunabilirler. Hatta bu iktidar sahipleri şahsi menfaatlerini, müstevlilerin siyasi emelleriyle tevhit edebilirler. Millet, fakr-ü zaruret içinde harap ve bitap düşmüş olabilir."

93 years later, these words became even more valueable than ever before.

I doubt that but i rather choose the money or SM-3 and SM-6 for TF-2000.

US Senate: The US may buy S-400s from Turkey

This is one hell of a twist!

There might be a clause in the contract Turkey cannot resell to another country. Besides, the key point of buying S-400 in the first place was to stop Russian offensive on Idlib city which would have fallen if Erdogan did not buy S-400. Selling S-400 to America even if there is no such clause means Russia will be free to take Idlib city.

Its time that the US starts to honor the relationship to turkey and all turkey has done for the US and its imperialistic policies (Korea, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan) - stop arming PKK, stop supporting France or Greece or UAE which are openly against turkey. I think that if we don't get those F35 - a Destroyer would boost our naval power regarding threats of teamed up nations at the Mediterranean and would be better for us, than those old F15 or Patriots systems they are offering too :) - I think that Turkey, in general, should expand its navy because we are, unlike many other nations, surrounded by the sea.

Turkey has not blocked Bosporous to Russian ships as US asked. Turkey has no stopped buying nuclear power plant from Russia as US asked. Turkey has not stopped buying S-400 from Russia as US asked. If Turkey does not listen to US, then why should US listen to Turkey? Relationship is a 2 way affair, not a 1 way road.

Again.. as always, you speak stupidly. ''Relationship is a 2 way affair, not a 1 way road'' that sentence was the most logical thing you wrote.

@Austin Powers

I think you thought the relationship between the united states and arabian puppets was valid for the whole world.:crazy:

I think Turkey has followed US order for decades. Now, 40 years later we should allow Turkey his own ways without asking for permission.
