Man,before I came to the forum I had a completely different idea about Chinese people. After seeing beijingwalker,renhai,him and a few others here and reading stories about complains from HK locals and others about mainland Chinese...my opinion has changed.

I don't know, Sweden Court aligned to EU court, they can't just go back and say "Screw EU and we deport all those Kurd Refugee" I don't think this is also on the table because essentially if this is, you are basically asking Sweden to leave EU.

Swedish Court and government do not have the power to do this. As Sweden is part of EU, any refugee issue in Sweden would have to go thru EU.

This is one of the reason why the UK left EU as well. EU court/law have immense power over its member....

Then why you keep asking the same thing.

If you want to ask whether Turkey want Sweden support for EU membership in exchange for Sweden NATO bid, sure, why not. But what that can do to the actual membership progress? It did NOTHING. If they did ask for that, that would just be a lip service, it's like UNSC, as long as US veto, UK or France vote is pointless. So did Russia and China. Sure Sweden will support Turkey bid, but that would do the giant sum of Zero

Let’s be honest brother. Turks know they were never gonna join the EU in 100 Years every politician in Turkey knows it’s a dead dream. At least they got the F-16s / f35 development ? but the EU it’s only a fairy tale to Turks they’re would find more success joining the Shanghai cooperation.

But Erdogan's demand makes no sense. He's asking to get into EU in order to let Sweden in NATO.

That's like saying "I'll let you come to my party,if you let me join the veterans association" or something like that.

Ummm.. What is this nonsense? Erdogan is saying for Turkey to be in EU, while Turkey supporting Sweden's entry into NATO.

If EU asks Turkey to join, Erdogan will say yes to it lol. They will get huge benefits by being in both EU and NATO.

Well if Turkey supports Sweden's entry in NATO, then Sweden should supports Turkey's entry in EU.

The European parliament committee voted to suspend the negotiations due to human rights violations and the turkish constitutional referendum in 2018 or something. I am asking what has changed in Turkey these past days that makes you think the EU all of a sudden would restart such negotiations?
