What's new

Turkey To Join Coalition Against ISIS ?

We owe them nothing. We owe nothing to anyone. We have already helped them a lot by kicking Taliban's and Saddam's asses.

They can't do anything against Turkey, Israel, or KSA. This snowball has already reached to most of its size.

you are making us look weak.
it's time to stop the bullshit and start really fighting IS.
once IS is pushed back and forced to hide like rats, we can get Iraq the weapons it needs!! Mi-28 and Apache-64, more Su-25s etc etccccc
focus on the air force and special forces.
IS will never do the same shit with impundity again!!

as for Syria we just want to smash the leadership there, Dr. Assad and Uncle Ali can finish them off there.

.
Then they develop a safe haven just like AQ pre-9/11. We can't allow that to happen.
If you have not noticed it yet, those fighters are coming from the places that we have already been there like Afghanistan, Libya, ... So, your plan doesn't work.

You are just emotional. I am happy that we did not give F-16s to Iraq, before IS-Iraq clash, otherwise IS would have some squadrons of F-16s by now
Anyway, If you ask me to compare these two scenarios, I would say that selling arms to that incompetent Iraqi army is still much better than directly engaging in the war.

You are totally wrong. Iran and Assad are the true devils in the ME. have you forgot what they did in Iraq war? They welcomed us to go to Iraq, but they sent thousands of morons and used IEDs to kill our soldiers in Iraq. If you are looking for a real change in ME, you just need to kick Iran's *** to stop shia terrorism, and have a serious talk with arab gulf countries to stop funding sunni terrorism. They are the main sources of the cancer in ME, and IS is just a symptom.

.
it's our duty to protect American interests no matter what

we gonna do what we gonna do. you with us or against us bro
American interest in Iraq is?
What is up with the with or against us,cant we be neutral?

Come on. Most of IS mercenaries are wearing sandals and cannot even afford to put on proper shoes in the battle, and have an AK-47 at best. how they are supposed to come after us?

You are saying that another trillion dollars needs to be spent on a useless war. I think the best option in the next war, would be collecting money solely from the tax of the citizens who have favored the war. I think that's more fair.

I think your underestimating the threat. AQ was essentially the same but still managed to pull off 9/11. As we saw with the failed '09 Christmas Day airliner bomb plot, and the failed 2010 Times Square bomb plot, terror groups are still coming after this country. We can't go easy on these groups. I'm not saying to start another trillion dollar war, but air power and special forces should be enough to erode IS.

I believe that the best option is to have a serious talk with gulf arabs and also kick Iran's ***, since they are the true sources of funding, arms, training, ... for these groups. Even if we destroy IS, these baboons would create a new group of religious morons to terrorize the civilized world. This cycle is endless, bro.

Why special forces, bomb them where they live, almost all flat desert lands.

We can just bomb them if they got close to some areas that they are not supposed to get close to them, like Baghdad, and Erbil that our embassies are located. We already did that in an area close to Erbil, and it was a crystal clear message for them to stop going further, and they did stop their mercenaries. That's a much better plan than sending troops or special forces or carpet bombing all of the IS forces.

I agree it's an endless cycle. The people and leaders of the region need to answer this question. "Why does radical extremism flourish in the region?" When we here some constructive answers and solutions to that question, only then will they be able to truly eradicate radical extremism.

It is an old video, but most of his points still make sense:
@Kaan @C130 @F-22Raptor

meh I like Ron Paul and I agree with a lot of his principles, but it's too late the damage is done.
we have to face IS head on.
no invasion no occupation, but we gotta put a beating on them and help our ME partners in dealing with them

.
The whole region is one giant cluster****. On one side you have a group who enjoys beheading, crucifying, and burying people alive...on the other, you have a butcher who likes to gas and barrel bomb his people to death. They've lost their damn minds.

too late? are they going to attack USA on tomorrow?!!! Don't worry man, Israel and Turkey can act as barriers to stop these animals to go further, and directly threaten the civilized world.

Our so called arab ME partners, and Iran are the ones who created these groups. do you think that they would destroy these groups? NO!!!
Except for Israel, and Turkey(the secular part of turkey), we have no other true partners in ME, rest of ME are bunch of irrational backward crazies.

Yup, I totally agree.
They've lost their damn minds.
They had no brain at the first place  They have lived like this for hundreds of years and what they do is deeply rooted in their mentality, culture, religion, ... That's what some westerner people cannot understand it, since they have never been in ME, or had not much contacts with them.

.
because it is our duty.
IS is an enemy of the U.S and world peace
we will annihilate our enemies and follow them to the gates of hell if need be.

Then go and fight. Dont mix Turks into your business. We are not the guardians of your oil companies.

Why? In the first place, you created Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. Then you came to Iraq, and created a sectarian war.
