So If you are out of F-35 then Chinese and Russian will have upper hand dealing about their offer of either J-31 or SU-57 as you will left with just two option . but what is more concerning to me is due to US pressure you may not get EU countries help regarding engine development for future TFX which happening with PW and another company if i can recall right .

Now under current circumstances spending a single penny to any aircraft other than TF-X is the definition of plain stupidity. Even for inevitable stop-gap solutions we may acquire not fully matured early varient of TF-X lets say (block 1)or a 4(++) MMU in mid 2020s. may be an overly optimistic scenario but TF-X will be the ultimate test for Turkish military industry. Even a simple hürjet on steroids is more preferable than a SU, gripen, typhoon or rafale for a stop gap solution.

One or two squadrons of SU57 will be enough as a stop gap measure also will be great for evaluation. Also like this hurjet on steroids idea. I think an east/west mix can only produce a more deadly TFX.

Actually i believe TFX will be pretty much western standarts. Since our tech partner BAE is British. Our entire army based on western standarts and Our defence companies mostly become partner with western companies.

It doesn't mean that you can't incorporate eastern tech into the jet. After evaluating the latest Russian jet, i'm sure it will lead to a broader input into TFX program.

Poland can’t even buy itself one corvette for its own navy forget a plane that costs 90.000.000$ for its Air Force.

Greece had problems paying the money for its F-16 to be modernized and had to cut the amount of F-16 by over half what they intended to modernize but is gonna buy the F-35 ?

The same Greece that asked its people to donate money so they could buy one frigate ?

A frigate that costs maybe twice or thrice the price of an F-35?
