I am reading in the news that Pakistan has big role in facilitating peace talks between Afghan taliban and america....Pakistan is so keen to solve Afghanistan issue why not solving its own problem, TTP?
Afghan taliban dont believe in democracy and constitution but it seems they will be convinced to accept it...our TTP can also be convinced to give up on violence and accept pakistani constitution.
It would be good idea to make them sit with Afghan Taliban...what do you think? Its a golden oppurtunity to solve TTP problem.

I don't thin we will ever make a proper peace agreement with TTP as their ideology is 360 degreeoopposite to ours however it is never a bad idea to engage them in dialogue so for this purpose

2: Afghan taliban [All factions] have their real share in Kabul govt.
3: Pashtuns are represented for their right size.
4: Tribal areas in Pakistan have more confidence and can start a Jirga process.

Afghan Talibans Kill Americans, don't loot the banks, don't hijack people for funding and most importantly don't kill their own countrymen in the name of Islam and Sharia.

A very positive development in PPP's regime was to initiate ties with the former Northern Alliance Shia leaders. Before 9/11 Pakistan's support of Talibans was not appreciated by Northern Alliance (forcing them to tilt towards India). Now Pakistan's stance is more balanced and more accommodating for all the stakeholders. Result is that Karzai Administration is left alone since both Talibans and Northern Leaders don't support Karzai on his Anti-Pakistan Stance. Thats why NS's statement about ending interference in other countries was very critical. India has been escaping the world pressure on kashmir issue by pointing fingers at Pakistan. Kashmir movement has enough potency in it to handle the indian oppression on it own. Thus as Pakistan's policy becomes more liberal, India will gradually be ripped off its global goodwill. An interesting statement came from Jhon Carry today in which he stressed upon India to normalize its ties with Pakistan. Its used to be the other way previously.
