Your mind is totally poisoned and couldn't function normally, Mandariin is bascially only spoken in Beijing natively, all languages outside Beijing are local dialects, including Tianjin which is next to Beijing, China has hundreds if not thousands of them, Cantonese is just one of these so many, got it? When people speak Shanghai dialects, I don't understand a word, many outsiders complain that Shanghai people discriminate people who can't speak Shanghai dialect and look down on people who speak Mandarin, but this is just some personal opinions.
