Absolutely---they are and that is what is happening---no doubt about it---. But to make it like and earth shaking moment---it is not---.

American capabilities are so far out of their range and grasp---that sometimes it looks like a world of " fiction " as it really is real---or is it make belief---.

US don't want anyone (including it's allies) to come close in terms of tech with them and here China have done that. Chinese are testing tech which US never thought any one can get other then themselves.

That is why they are playing game to trap China and make it weak so it can not get parity in terms of war fighting capability and technology, US know it will take one or two decades for China to be there so they don't want that to happen.

You just glorified the horrors of war by calling the american retreat a defeat by afghans---.

I mean to say even Amir Taimur and prior to that the mongols had not killed so many afghans as did the americans---and you calling the american retreat a defeat---and a victory for the afghans---.
