The Political Situation of China

. .
I have full confidence in our leadership decision to guide China the right way. Obviously it will be led by Xi-Li.

So are you Chinese-American ? Or are you a Chinese citizen residing in USA?

.
Mao worse thing that could of happened to China. Mao set you all back 4 decades. My man Deng destroyed Mao's legacy. Dishonored him like Khrushchev did Stalin..
Dare Deng to say a bad word about Mao.

您还住在西边。加拿大。如果你是真正的爱国者。你将生活在中国。

将你转移到中国?

Yes, this is true when competing with foreign companies, but within China, literally, SOEs are owned by the entire population, they should care more people, but they turn in less taxes to government, compared with SMEs. Meanwhile, without SMEs to offer so many jobs to common people, there is already rebel, SOE only allow people who have background to join. This account a very small portion of total employments.

By the way, I didn't see any SOE car makers make competitive models equivilent to Toyota or Honda.

The most important thing, actually, is not whether if it's SME or SOE, it's the way the company operates. Many SOEs operates like a government, from the CEO to department manager, they all have administrative rank, like the government officials. This is not a company, they should learn from SOEs from Singapore and France. If you are a company, you should behave your role properly, don't get involved too much with political things, which could give them unfair adavantages over SMEs.

My soultuon:

I agree keep sensitive industries all to SOEs, this is our national security. Meanwhile, I suggest all SMEs and SOEs shoud have the same play ground, to compete each other. My families and friends all work for state owned banks, which only lend to SOEs, this is unfair. All companies, whether big or small, should have same access to financing, which means that their financing source would be subject to their own financial position. Some small companies have lower debt ratio, so they can get some financial leverage to operate, while some SMEs are very high portion of debt to equity ratio, this shouldn't be allowed any loan from the bank according to the basic principle, but they still can. The lending process could be long and tough, it includes credit investigation, pre loan investigation, the annual report investivation, the feasibility report, the legal liabilities, the approval of loan, and the post loan inspection. While all SOEs have guarantee of local government, so they don't have problem to pass the procedual. In fact, they can skip most of the procedures, all the stages are paper work, no real thing. But most SMEs will be rejected due to the long and tough process of state owned banks.

Off-topic, most people don't see the benefit of SMEs, when talking about this matter, they relate to liberism, privatization, this is unecessary, only if the government controls the most crucial sector, and in fact, this is the same in many western countries. SOEs can perform very well like Temasek Holdings Limited (100% ownership pf Singapore treasury department ), if they adpot a modern corporate governance structures, with segration of duties, obey the laws, reject unfair adavantages.

If all SOEs fully operate with modern coprate governance, China will really become strong, because they hold the most wealth of China, they represent our people's mind.

Relax, bro...

I understand what you are saying. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the car companies are POE? Talking to some older friends from China, they prefer working for SOE at the time, pre 1995. They made good money at the time and the government paid for their apartment. Not sure if that is the case anymore.

.
Sensitive industry must be led by SOE while the innovative and competitive edge industry should be led by POE. The key to make an equilibrium model between SOE vs POE balance is how should we classified our financial and banking industry. Should it be led by SOE or POE? That is the hard part. Do we want to liberate the financial industry? This is dangerous but we have little time left. I left this to our leader to decide the fate of the country.

Banking should be left to government. Look at the closure of the private banks in the US since 1990s. On top of that, does China government want private business people dictating their monetary policy--when, how much money to print?

Most Chinese are not familiar with Federal Reserve Bank of US? It's privately owned and prints money to its hearts content

Even founding father Thomas Jefferson and others oppose private owned banks.

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies,” Jefferson wrote. ” If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around(these banks) will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

“ The issuing power of currency shall be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.”

The US openly declared that they need to remove China's SOEs, because it is a threat to their hegemony.

Only the anti-China trolls hate China's SOEs. It was the fault of the those corrupt bastards who managed the SOE, but the SOE itself is not wrong.

你这泰国人妖是TM在找抽吗?

I guessed it all along. No wonder that guy hates China so much.

Xunzi and ChineseTiger1986 are both Chinese first. That's why they always refer to China as "we" or "us".

Living overseas is not a problem for a true patriot, they will always be loyal to their motherland first.

Correct, still many college graduates prefer SOEs, due to the stability. But they payment is not attractive any more, they chose here because the employment market is harsh, the position and application gap is huge. At least three of my friend plan to quit from the banks (they are young, 25 years old), they always complain about the bank job. They did all the work, but the reward goes to their higher boss. Also the payment depends on which city or which industry. Some could be very low. Even the people who sell tea boild eggs on the street earns far more than them.

That is the reality anywhere not just in China. In Canada, a small shop owner who open a shop in a mall cafeteria shop make more money than most people with MBA/ PHd, etc. My parents own a small shop and they make more money than most executives. If you want to make it rich, be an entrepreneur.

.
Any report by independent reporter in Xinjiang ...?
Well, we all know "independent reporters" means anti-China reporters in your language, or they must be "official" reporters and who works for Chinese. If that would please you to see negative comments against China, I felt so sorry to you poor guy.
loser, just like the writer of this main thread. I would admire him if he volunteered to write such a long BS for free to intentionally misguide others about what happened in China. What a wretched thing if it is the only source of your happiness. Can you make your life better by insulting China? I would say nothing if you really could get benefits though this.

Yes, I will try to start a business when I am more than 30. China still have so much opportunity.

REALLY??? :woot: damn what kind of shop do your parents own? What's the point going after MBA/PhD then?

All these political happenings in around the Chinese orbit is very interesting, exciting. I watch with glued eyes at how the current Chinese Leadership addresses the situation.
Looked like you pay much more attention on China than Japan. Abe is leading Japan back to WWII, dude! Your government has just amended your "Peace Constitution" which means that you Japs are stepping towards wars again. Take more care about your own business and be prepared to escape away from your islands. It just make you nothing but a clown here by hypocritically "caring" about China.

You gotta be kidding me. Take more care abut your Lee's Dynasty at first.
