The Political Situation of China

In Chinese mind, Only the mainland can be the CHINA. Today is PRC governed by CPC. I think even U.N also agree with my idea.

BTW If Japan government admit another China, pls inform us.

As per our 1978 Treaty of Peace and Friendship, Japan recognizes the Government in Beijing and abrogated the 1972 Joint Communique between Japan and Taiwan.

In regards to my remarks to another poster here, it is far better to criticize the west while living in the west and enjoying the rights and privileges afforded to them by the west, per se Canada and the united states. True nationalists of China live in China. And thus I give their words and credence greater weight than Huarens who live in North America.

This is why I give greater respect to the voices of members such as @Chinese-Dragon , @Edison Chen and you @cnleio . Because you three at least live in the PRC.

I hope that clarifies my position.

My friend. When u meet many Chinese inside China and abroad, u will find in this world there's really 2x CHINA.

One setup by Chinese ppl living in mainland, another setup by overseas Chinese like @ChineseTiger1986. Each time when mainland of China get worse situation, Chinese always get supports from those overseas Chinese. So we respect overseas Chinese, they r Chinese eyes & voices in the West, also is Chinese wealth & wisdom.

I admire the Huaren who go back to China and contribute directly to the growth of the Nation. Depends on the loyalty of the Huaren, my friend.

I know good friends of mine (Chinese-Americans) who went to school in the United States, graduated from prominent graduate schools, and then went back to PRC to take up jobs in Shanghai in growing corporate sector(s). They were always nationalists , from my experience with them, and am glad to see that they walked the talk, instead of just talking the talk.

In Japan, I also have friends who are Japanese but of Chinese decent. But even tho they are Huaren, their loyalty is no longer to China, but it is to Japan. Their mentality , and their loyalty is clearly no longer to China.

You have a point that there are, indeed, Chinese Huaren who do go back to China and contribute much. There are even those who live in the West and have no plans of ever going back to China.

Same thing for Japan. The only ones who can contribute to Japan are the Japanese who live in Japan or the Japanese who have plans to go back to Japan and contribute to the nation. The overseas Japanese who have already assimilated into the host nation(s) no longer can commit direct change for Nihon. Perhaps only form an emotional / spiritual attachment.

But my point is this, my friend. Only the Chinese in the Mainland (to an extent even Hong Kong and Taiwan) can really make a difference. Because it is they who work, live, and directly contribute for societal change. Who knows, even perhaps gaining entry into the Chinese Communist Party, which is the one that dictates policy.

The same to China, strictly we didn't call the pure Chinese, only recognize the person whose heart belong to China is the Chinese. Whatever he is a Japanese-Chinese or American-Chinese, only care China then he is the Chinese.

Another is the "Banana man", they r foreigner who has a white heart just skin looks like Chinese.

您还住在西边。加拿大。如果你是真正的爱国者。你将生活在中国。

将你转移到中国?

It is none of your business, even the Canadian government has no right to interfere our personal opinion, then what is your position to babble this and that about us?

This time, ur logic is contradiction.

Today PRC is not the China ? CPC government is not the China government ? When Japan government officially recognized TaiWan is the China, not PRC ?! So for @ChineseTiger1986 as a overseas chinese, to praise CPC's China is absolutely right.

Did the WWII Japan Empire and today Japan is the same Japan or different Japan ? Check U.N Declaration, the PRC is only legal representative of China and there's only one China government in BeiJing.

We are the average oversea Chinese who hope China and the West can co-exist peacefully.

But this wish cannot be unilaterally only from China's side, and the West should understand and respect China's political sovereignty. Also leave China alone, just stop curbing China and always malevolently wish China to collapse into pieces just because China wanna start a healthy competition to the western hegemony.

The world needs the healthy competition, and the western hegemony and supremacy cannot last forever. And the West should learn how to co-exist peacefully with other civilizations.

This has to be done by the effort from both side.

that's pretty funny.
hell China only has come on strong for changing it's tune with Nixon's visit and entry into the WTO, what a shame really. all them Chinese dying in the cultural revolution and other stupid policies.
Yes, the President of United State is the true friend of Chinese Communist. LOL, like Nixon, Clinton, Bush family :woot:

Do u really think why American President willing to visit China first, not Mao to U.S ? Why U.S agree China entry into WTO ?

Coz in this world both China and U.S need each other.

History will repeat itself, China will split again. People in China are too diverse. I do not wish that happen, it will become burden for Vietnam, hundred to million will run to Vietnam.

yea, you are indeed right, you 15 hundred a year per capita income is just too much money for China to turn down.

One of the major problems China has had with its economic model is that at nearly any time, the majority owner of most of its economy — the state — can jump into an enterprise and distort it for its own purposes. It can cook the books, it can pull out profits, it can hide losses, it can launder money and it can even shut down a company altogether. While China does have tech companies that mimic the features of Google, Facebook and Twitter, note that those Western companies haven’t been able to operate in China. What China wants is not an environment where tech revolutionaries can flourish; it wants Chinese, state-run versions of these startups, which means it will never foster the entrepreneurial spirit that makes companies like these possible.

That desire — that seemingly irrepressible urge of the Chinese to copycat everything foreign, from cars to watches to iPhones to social networks, is ultimately why no matter how good the Chinese get at tweaking state capitalism, it will never match up to the promise of a truly free capitalist economy.

While I think this is a fair characterization of China today, if China is able to reform, it will be as normal as the US or Germany in the future. If it is not able to reform, it will never be a leading country.

Since it is in China's interests to reform, it will probably soon start respecting intellectual property and start allowing real foreign competition in China (i.e. not the insufficient JV regime that exists today). The special economic zone in Shanghai is the first sign of this, and Xi's anti-corruption drive will provide him with the political capital to continue the reform process. It's up to Xi, now.

The chinese government are slow into action. They should have acted quicker. What a bunch of useless people can't even protect its own soil.

Chinese ppl tends to give themselves free to call any oversea Chinese as "banana" or not ...
that's a racism way to call others.

In Vietnam, we have no special term to downgrade a oversea Vietnamese, whether his heart belong to Vietnam or not.
If no, at least his position equal other non-Vietnamese

Created written languages for them, created so called autonomous regions for them that have never happened in our long history, lol.
Just a minor correction, even the Qing had hereditary native houses(tusi) in parts of Huguang and Guangxi.

Chinese officials thought that the semi Sinicized chieftans could handle the natives better than themselves, so in return for nominal recognition of Chinese suzerainty they pretty much ruled as they pleased.

留园网-新疆3万人围堵暴徒视频曝光 歹徒躲进废弃民房 -6park.com

A bit more news on Xinjiang frontier:

title "In Xinjiang, 30,000 civilians helps police hunt down terriorists"

Reporters from Xinhua news learned that on July 27th, Xinjiang Hotan area police received tip off from the local civilians and arrest a gang of terrorist. During the manhunt, more than 30,000 civilians voluntarily joined the hunt.

About 12:15 on August 1st, the participating civilians found the terrorists' trail in a corn field near Puqiakeqixiang, Karakax county. The police and the civilians worked together and forced the terrorist into an abandoned house in the area. The terrorists threw improvised explosives at the police and civilians and the police responded by shooting 9 of the terrorist and arrested 1. There is no police and civilian casualties.

During the manhunt, the police received tip off from more than 70 people.

China police request Han people to hunt Uyghur suspect ?

30,000 "civilians" and police hunt them into "abandoned house" and get counter-strike by explosive ?

"police shot almost all suspect?"

===========
to be frank, police show their low performance ... why they want attract thousand civilians into the hunt ? that make dangerous to them in stead of any helpful ?

If choosing shot down all suspect, I think a SWAT squad is enough ... why request so crowd of "civilian" ?
