The Muslim World | Medusa's Wreck!

What exactly did she say that was scripted and bull? I'm still waiting on you to refute her on substance, while the other panelist were shockingly lacking.

So your victim hood is from the British empire days? Did the British or imperialist make you house Osama Bin Laden and the current condition of your country?

What is behind this claim of 'your time is emerging', if you could kindly be specific. Is it economic, military, welfare, prosperity forthcoming? In what field do you see that your time is coming. When most of "yours" is busy killing each other and trying to establish a caliphate of terror.

I'm confused, we gave you Musharraf, Zia, KSA monarchy, Ghadafii, Assad, Saddam, Basher (Sudan), Mubark, Ayatoallah princely states and monarchy OR your landowner system called Zamindar I believe?

Right now your NW frontier is worse than Gaza. And you have done it to your own people again.

We are already no 1 oil producing country and no 1 energy producing country. When I spoke about dependency, I was talking about your country, Pakistan. Even so the west if dependent on you for oil, it is still richer and more prosperous than all of you.
If the West is is still richer and more prosperous than all of the Muslim countries (very debatable; since most of West's wealth is dependent on African or middle eastern raw materials to feed its industries that gets it rich by transforming these and by setting the prices for both raw and finished goods.), the engine of its "richness and prosperity" is driven by the middle eastern Oil supplies, not the American ones, that are barely sufficient for the US.

Pakistan,Indonesia and Turkiye are not the problem, the rest cant stand each other,Iranians and Arabs will never make real peace.
Maybe we should offer them Baklava?
Iranians, Arabs and turks have lived in harmony for at least a thousand years since the beginning of Islam, and they know what is real peace. What is happening now is due to happen, since all Muslim countries are awakening to the worlds harsh realities and interventionism in their internal affairs
By the way they all have Baklava and enjoy it.

Representing one-fifth of humanity as well as of the global land mass spreading over 57 countries, and possessing 70 per cent of the world’s energy resources and nearly 50 per cent of the world’s raw materials, the Muslim world should have been a global giant, economically as well as politically. Instead, rich in everything and weak in all respects, it represents only five per cent of the world’s GDP.

Are those really facts? o_O

The whole article is based on the premise that there is such an entity as the "Muslim World". There is NO such thing!

The Ummah is a theory in The Holy Koran, and is to be taken as a fact by every Muslim. But does that warrant practical applications in regards to economy, security, governance, technology and other things that define a nation today or tomorrow? Probably not.

I think the point of the concept is simple: Fellowship among Muslims regardless of where they are from.

Nice story but you didnt add something to the conversation,in the beginning they all lived in peace even with the Jews.
We are talking about now not the past but the future.
Btw,Baklava originates from Arabs so we knew that to,its the offering what the gesture was about.

If we've been up to all that we've been accused off surely there must something....anything.....that has been collected over the years that can be shared with the International Court of Justice & yet nothing - Not a single shred of evidence that can be shared ?

Besides what is the alternative - We should believe it anyhow because the 'unnamed intelligence sources' said so - Not even after Iraq ?

And I'm the one accused of monochromatism ?

Asking for even a 'shred of evidence' is not a myopic world view.....believing what ones wants to believe just because it conforms to one's preconceived notions of what ought to be - Is !

I confess Pakistan has never been good at counter-propaganda but one doesn't need to look beyond a couple of Chomsky's or Scheur's books to know the truth about the so-called 'informed' opinion coming out of world capitals - Its the oldest trick in the book 'demonize the other' to create an 'us' vs 'them' - First it was the Soviets then the Chinese & the rest of us from Iran to Nicaragua including Pakistan are just somewhere in the middle of all of that !

That said, I didn't know that 'frequency of opinions' coming out of world-capitals determines the merit or demerit of an argument or an accusation - I was under the erroneous impression that whereas fickle minded as we are it may serve to alter or construct our perception of anything it does not however have the force of 'evidence' or maybe I should concede then - Because a 100 people are saying it....it must be true perhaps academics, international law or even informed opinion, as you call it, are a democratic ideal not an empirical one !
What evidence? they want to lie and get away with it. They can not believe that Muslims are intelligent and can foil their mind control schemes, which are designed for economic and ultimately survivability control. Nothing less than that. it only shows the extent of the dangers they pose to the Muslim world in particular and the developing world in general.

I still see it that way now. You have your opinion based on whatever you think, and I have mine based on facts I know, read my other posts on this thread, you might get an idea about now and the future of the Muslim world.
What I have added to the conversation is my optimistic view, that you couldn't see. I lived in the NL and I know their mentality and their Anti-Muslim propaganda.
The gesture is much welcomed from all sides. Can't you offer your support instead.?

Yes practical applications at least in economy, technology and education can be warranted by this fellowship.

Yes, that is a good point. The concept of ummah as a loosely defined fellowship is perfectly fine. Recall the the Quran also says that tribes and groups were created amongst men so that we could recognize each other. Thus, there need not be complete political or economic homogenization for this fellowship to hold true. There need not be a single Caliph for all the various groups and tribes, and by extension in the present day era, nations.

Facts you say?
Lets see now;who kills the most Muslims in the world?
Where are the only wars where people are killed like flies, beheaded, skinned alive, stoned to death?
Who has sectarian wars?
You know the answer.
I cannot support something i dont believe in,some Muslim countries could work together but never all of them.
Still believe in your ''facts''?

The fact is that the US killed more than that in Iraq alone, bombs can kill people like flies, skin them alive, behead them and blow them up to death.
I'm not trying to justify what a bunch of so called "Muslims" are doing "on camera" (on top of it). Do you really think that if they were Muslims in the real sense, they will commit such atrocities, or if somehow Muslims to be stupid enough to propagate them as an anti-Islamic propaganda?

Some articles on the net show or try to prove that the ISIL Khalif is a trained Mossad operative.
Iranian official news agencies came up with his photographs and his real Jewish name!?

That is bs,the most deads are caused by Muslims look at Syria 150k now?
Then where are these ''good'' Muslims and why dont they do something against such wrong doings?
Why dont Iran and the GCC unite to end the war in Syria,Iraq,Palestine?
Or,why dont ALL Muslim countries all unite?
Btw,are you Pakistani,Iranian,Arab,Bangladeshi?

Bro, we have to start somewhere. Others will fall in line when the time comes. I was listening to a radio show once where it said, only a minority of Arabs betrayed Ottomans, 90% were still supportive of Ottomans, but the 10% traitors together with the West won the war. Same thing happened in Pakistan as it broke in 1971, a small minority of traitors with Indian backing broke Pakistan. But we should not blame our enemies, it was their goal and job to break us. We should blame our own stupidity, if our own people could not identify and neutralize traitors in early stages, things would not come to this. This is what we have to learn from for the future. Identify and neutralize traitors early on.

By 2100 AD Muslims will be 33 - 40% of global population of 10 billion. No population group in this world is as large. We are diverse, spread out the globe, but the seed of unity is there. So this is the potential that we must learn to utilize from, taking small steps. Turkey did excellent work already in many Central Asian and African countries, now it has to be expanded to other Muslim countries. If it brings mutual economic and geopolitical benefit, why should Turkey or any Muslim countries object? Only traitors and foreign agents will object increasing relations between Muslim countries. I will discuss more in Turkish geopolitics thread about specific steps.

You forget that getting stoned to death, skinned alive, beheaded and other terrible crimes are committed in all developing parts of the world. Africa, South America, East Asia, and South East Asia are all poverty-rife places where there are still many old prejudices and superstitions.
The people living in these parts have little access to education or social welfare or anything which most Westerners have. What do you think will happen?
It's laughable how you blame Islam.
Only about 30-40 years ago, Islamic extremism was literally unheard of. I bet at that point of time, guys like you would be talking about the evils of socialism and Che Guevara.

I agree with you, a political co-operation like EU, an economic co-operation like EEC and a defense co-operation like NATO will be serve the purpose well.
