Before i respond further Sir, just what is the Prophet's "nation"? The Quraish? Saudi Arabia? Or anybody who professes to follow him, wherever in the world he/she might be?

What the Bible says about stoning
Everybody must get stoned

Note: There is an interesting story in John 8 about a woman caught in adultery. It is often used to show that Jesus was opposed to stoning. Unfortunately, Jesus doesn't clearly say that he is, and the story may not belong in the Bible anyway, since it is not found in the oldest and best manuscripts.

To be a nation-less society is the ultimate aim and ideal that has been prescribed in the Quran.

To start a just society, that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) he started preaching from his home, then to friends, then to the acquaintances and after that the Commandments came to spread the Message to everyone. This is the model of the growth of Islamic society.

Things start at a basic level and then, as the merits of the new thought are witnessed in practice more and more adherents flock towards it.

One day when a Quranic model is adopted, there will be many to follow them. Again, the example of Iran is valid.

To my understanding, Ummah is all about sharing, you may be living in different communes, but are united for the welfare and defence of each other.

That is the problem,the GCC or Iran will never accept that leadership.

Bangladesh will be interested to join and accept Turkey's leadership like Pakistan, and the group should go ahead without people who do not want to join, such as GCC and Iran. Perhaps it is best that way. Eventually they will change their mind, when they see there is some benefit to be included in this group.

In order to keep bruised ego's under control, it will be best to have rotating leadership.
