i wanted csk to win:cry: {dhoni fan}

They have no big hitter except Dhoni and Hayden. Raina is way to inconsistent and the rest are too new. They need some big hitters up in the order otherwise i doubt they will even make it to the semi's.

Just a busiiness venture dishing out money for foreigners.

You are totally wrong brother, The IPL is the face of an India ready to dominate the world. For a long time cricket has been the property of the Australian and English board’s. India 20 years ago was seen just as another third world country inferior in every way to these countries. But that outlook has now changed dramatically. With the BCCI dominating the world of cricket in every way and India becoming the most profitable place to play the game, the IPL has only added a jewel on the crown. With the IPL India shows its modern and vibrant side to the world, a country that can offer the best to anyone. The sheer scale of the tournament is something to stand in awe off. The same Australian’s like Symonds, Hayden and Gilcrist who used to be big quite anti-India at one point, now wait for the IPL every year to come back to India. The IPL has given India the ability to modernize its own domestic structure and also prove to youngsters that cricket is a viable career path. It create thousands of jobs and provides great entertainment to a burgeoning middle class who are ready to spend money. The IPL is so much more than this and saying that it only dishes out money for foreigners would be very very wrong to say.

thats a narrow outlook bhai. IPL creates so many jobs and brings in so much revenue to BCCI.

But more importantly it shows the rise of india. We have a lot of poverty and other problems in india, something which many people LOVE harping about. The IPL shows the OTHER side of India, our rise, our increased influence and our determination to be a leader in world cricket. More than anything it has earned us the recognition and respect of the cricketing world. And it has bought such joy to our people.

So it might be a business, but its much more than just money floating around. It is a nation's pride and joy.

i hope both of them hit a lot. it'll be great to have the indian team in great form prior to T20 World Cup.

I do wish Pakistanis were playing. Would have been great to see how our Sehwag, Yusuf, Gambhir, Yuvraj and Raina would fare against the Pakistan quickies

.
DD lost :( wow Mumbai is looking good specially with the westIndian players now. They are surely in with a good chance now.

.
I think mumbai is the most balanced team of the 8
Top order:
Tendulkar;jayasurya;tiwary;raydu all destructive and are in great form
Middle order:
With the likes of pollard;bravo middle order is very strong
Bowlers:
Malinga who ruptures the stumps
Zaheer khan gr8 swinger of the ball
Harbhajan singh the classy off spinner

.
DD wont win IPL-3, unless they let Warner play. Dumb *** team management. Anyone seen the form he is in currently and you still keep him on the bench.
