Harare can't be compared to Delhi. Delhi is more metropolitan and developed. Harare has many infrastructure problems, even in its wealthier suburbs. Delhi is a larger version of Durban in South Africa. Africa is not for the feint hearted though. Indian culture is found in most parts of Southern Africa including Namibia and mostly throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe. In Southern Africa and especially in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland and large parts of Zimbabwe, Mozambique etc you will feel at home. The cleanliness and order situation is much better than most of India. For example, don't try ignoring a line of people waiting for service in a fast food outlet or a supermarket and go to the front (which is common in Delhi). You will get a beating. Also don't try spitting or urinating on the street or blowing your horn on your car like Delhi drivers do. The cops will kill you
There are quite a few Hindi or Urdu movies which were recently released by Bollywood which still epitomize the conservative lifestyle and culture of Indians. They unfortunately are not promoted by the big showcase producers
