Why should religion be brought into a discussion on birth control? It relates to the survival of mankind. Islam or any other religion has nothing to do with it.
Note also that Muslims with high birth rates are the poorest of all countries. These countries remain the most underdeveloped and seek entry into pig-eating Christian countries for survival.
Please save your energy on other things.
I think you got me wrong, you brought up population and having children, I did not hence said its a different issue. I was only on point of early marriage and islam views.
Population is surely a problem for countries like Bangladesh pakistan and some muslim african countries, I am not disputing that.
On yopur point of muslim migration there are multiple issues at play here. Post colonial powers still possess direct or indirect influence on world resources. Either by occupations or by military influence. They are still in control of major world economic tools and resources.
To give example France still exploits many north african countries and same goes for other major world powers today, it is said france will overnight become poor if it looses its influence on africa. Things are shifting to a multipolar world where China has already started a global power game, soon others may come into play.
All I see is the diminishing advantage the west had due to their colonial influence in science and technological advances and being overtaken by asia today or possibly africa tomorrow. West have their golden age and we are just in a time where we see the end is not too far. As per history Civilizations rise and fall. When islam had its golden age the west was in its dark ages, maybe tomorrow asia will have its golden age maybe africa will see their golden age after.
It has barely been 50 years when imperialism/ Colonialism came too and end, we see the reducing influence the colonists had over the world affairs already, look at UK today. Even fertility is going against them in the new worlds they created, and soon will be outnumbered by asians and the muslims. I am not advocating taking more children here, please do not get me wrong. I am just trying to potray a picture 40-50 years down the road how the world may look like.
The world power polls are shifting, what the future holds can only be speculated.
