Doesn't look like same vehicle as the one in Pak Army hands is camo'd while the one the Taliban are riding has no camo not to mention the one the Talibs have has a "Tie Down" notice underneath the right headlight (our left). The cylinder shaped piece on the Talib humvee is also missing on the Pak Army one, and another noteworthy thing is that the Talib humvee doesn't have a turret while the Pak Army one has a turret for HMG emplacement and protection.

The snorkel can be retracted
The gun turret can also be put on and replaced, if and when needed.
The vehicle may have been repainted at some stage or the paint may just have worn off.

I know the officer - they also captured a horse from a Taliban commander and played polo with it.
