Taiwan is located in SCS about 110 miles off the Chinese coast. While the SCS goes beyond the 9-Dash line the Chinese consider "their ocean" since WWII idealology. How does this American seem to you with so much knowledge about SCS and China?

I've also heard how we are almost financially broke due to Afghanistan's war, while we removed one foot off the gas there and now pouring in trillions for another 30 years of military advancements. I don't think that the people have any real idea of how significantly large the US economic base is!

The US is actually underspending on its military. During the Reagan years it was spending 6% of GDP on modernization. Today its about 3.3%. It should be spending 4.5% or a little over $1T. The US could massively expand its shipbuilding and capacity.

Yes, I am happy that PRC is shooting own foot diplomatically. Perhaps, the shortsighted PRC supporters don't understand there is ramification of military provocation. The people & countries on the fence will be aggitated with China's military theats and it will further encourage them to recognize PRC as a common threat to the region & perhaps the world. I really don't understand the whole point of this kind of military incursion since the CCP gets pretty much nothing out of it diplomatically and is probably very aware that a full-scale war isn't beneficial to any party. If PRC is only doing to rally own people then they are just being dumb as it implies they didn't consider diplomatic consequences.
I am sure the US is thrilled secretly as PRC is doing them a favour with those empty military threats.

Not surprising when you are in a country constantly bombarded by anti-China rhetoric. But countries that are actually on the fence would have recognized Taiwan as a part of China, and what China does within its own airspace, would certainly not provoke agitation.
It is weird that a guy that has the flag of the country that is more blatantly at Cold War with PRC makes such accusation. Why so many Chinese desperately want to migrate to the US, Australia and Canada when Chinese manifest so much hatred for them? I really don't understand Chinese's double-standards and their attempt at generalizing people in Anglosphere, especially when they are out of coherent argument.
Anyway, countries that are on the fence are increasingly concerned with PRC's military incursion, understanding that they could be targeted by PRC next. PRC of poking a stick at almost every neighbouring countries hasn't helped PRC either. It is a diplomatic blunder, but you may disagree.

Overseas Chinese are actually growing slowly, particularly Chinese Canadians. The fastest growing ethnicity in Canada? Indians. Note how Chinese Canadians were larger in 2001 yet were overtaken by Indians as of 2006. Just 5 years.
75% of H1-Bs are Indians. Not South Asian, just Indian. Chinese are 1/7th that of Indians despite having higher GDP and average education levels.

The US, Canada and Australia are immigrant nations. They were built by immigration. How many Australians are in Ireland vs ethnic Irish in Australia? Or how about Italians in New York vs Americans in Italy? Does that make Ireland or Italy a shithole? Shit, the number of overseas Chinese is not even a percent of China's population while the number of ethnic Irish abroad probably dwarfs the population of Ireland.
