Strength of alliance between India-Isreal

.
No grovelling; we have excellent relations with China, much to India's chagrin. Burn baby!

Now, there are some Pakistanis who realize just how shallow this relationship is and how easily things can change.

There is a Chinese colonel (with a pretty damn good strategic acumen, having spent his life in the NATO military) on WAB who says that "China will fight India to the last Pakistani".

It is obvious to see why this is so true.

He also says that it is inevitable that there will be a future conflict between the two and the reasons are not far to see.

I know that many astute Pakistanis already know the reality of this situation.

I get the feeling that this line was written just so that the "Burn baby!" thingy could be slipped in.

Now why did that become a pressing need?

Burn baby burn. :bunny:

It doesn't invalidate the air marshall's direct quote. Only the blogger's interpretation of it.

No Hindu phobia. It was a secondary option when Nehru, in his obsession, failed to meet Jinnah's and Gandhi's request for a compromise guaranteeing Muslim rights. Pakistan was the only option left at that point.

When people are still obsessed with "open wounds" from centuries past, and holding modern Muslims hostage until an apology is received, we all know what the subtext is.
.

Really....

Every word you write stinks of your fear for secularism...

You desperately keep trying to labels us of islamophobia... there is a valid reason for that... The day pakistan will believe that Islam is secure in indian secular democracy... pakistans existence looses credibility... if you believe we are not islamophobic then the burden of dictatorial debauchery and political trickery you have endured since 47 looses justification.... Existence of Secular India will prove that creation of Pakistan a "stupid mistake".

Hence you want us to hate muslims.... You want to glorify hindu Extremism or else your idea of nation is defeated.

Indo - Israel relation is based on strong defence ties...

Again let me specify... INDIA AND ISRAEL are both victims of STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM and not islamophobia...
Post Cold war geo political reallignment would result in extensive ties between Indo-Israel, indo-Euro and Indo-US ties... If you see all of that with your narrow prism of anti-Islamic motives then you need to broaden your thinking... you have a lot to learn

^^ They will believe what they feel compelled to believe because of the TNT and their mental conditioning that their textbooks and "Pakistan studies" cause.

It doesn't have anything to do with facts.

.

Judging from the Indians' posting diarrhea, I really hit a nerve in that "open wound". Clearly, the lack of a rebuttal has forced the usual suspects to seek refuge in new diversions.

A clear sign of your tendency to view everything through a racial prism is that you guys are unable to distinguish between being Arab/Persian and being Muslim. We are proud of our history -- all our history -- including the Muslim period. It does not make us Arab or Persian. Simply Muslim.

Deal with it.

You are also unable to comprehend the concept that a person may sympathize with another ethnic group. It does not make them "more Arab than Arab" or "more Chinese than Chinese". Just a human with empathy. This concept is, by definition, alien to bigots so I won't expect you guys to understand it.

You guys eradicated Buddhism from India and then have the audacity to talk about tolerance and complain of the Muslim conquest. Spare me the apologetics of Buddhism being an offshoot -- of course it was an offshoot of Hinduism, but militant Hinduism did not tolerate it's existance.

As for Kargil, here are a couple more links showing you had to call in Israel to save your as$.
Israel helped India turn around Kargil war?
In a startling revelation, the Israeli Ambassador in New Delhi, Mark Sofer, has said that his country had assisted India in 'turning around' the situation during the 1999 Kargil war with Pakistan.

In an interview with a weekly, the envoy disclosed how defence ties between the two countries got a boost after Kargil when Israel came to India's rescue at a critical time, helping turn around the situation on the ground.

That's "turn around", as in "save your bacon".

India-Israel Relations
During the Kargil War, Israel responded magnificently, despite pressures from various quarters not to supply. UAVs for high altitude surveillance, laser – guided systems and many other items were supplied within 24 hours

Actually, this thread was quite serendipidous: although I never looked for it, I managed to expose the core of the Hindutva mindset that fuels anti-Muslim bigotry in India. Unlike the Buddhists that you wiped out, the Muslims are here to stay.

As for the rest of your diarrhea, it has nothing to do with the topic and does not deserve a reply.

educational brain washing can be understood to an extent... but if you are just reading about stupid disassociative fantasies .. shouldn't be one using Logic to understand the reality... One needs to come out of this lala land and start looking in the mirror.... should we should break it them that santa clause is not real

Anyways .. enough of this...

i have a question ... Is india's reliance on Israel for avionics becoming a bane for our indigenous development

Cool, so having totally exposed the lies and "premises", we can move on. ;)

I think working with Israel helps both countries. Our government and public sector organizations don't have a culture of innovation. Our private sector does.

I see hope from many private sector companies that are entering the defense field and already producing several high tech cutting edge products.

They should be involved in any major defense orders and supported by encouraging partnership with Israeli and other Western firms.

They will soon become formidable as they have done in other industries. Defense PSUs should be limited to the strategic sector, all other work can be transferred to the private sector in a phased manner.

pakistans existence looses credibility...

Your very presence on this forum underscores your obsession with Pakistan.

Regardless of what anyone perceives to be its reason for existance, Pakistan exists and we're fine with it.

Buddhism is an Indian religion, a Dharmic religion that we all love and respect.

It has suffered the maximum at the hands of the brutal invasions from Islamic invaders. Just check your facts.

You just need to clutch at straws to try and justify the indefensible. And then claim to have moved on.

Frankly I have already told you what we think of Pakistani Muslims. You have nothing to do with those invaders even if you want to desperately claim their legacy.

They don't consider you "first class" to this day. For us, you are apostates. Only we don't kill our apostates like 4 in 5 of you want to do. ;)

:disagree:

Strategic projects like Nuke submarines etc should be handled only by PSUs.

But things like Frigates, conventional subs etc can be transferred to the Private.

. .
Also, everyone can notice a number of flip flops by our friend.

Whether scale matters or not.

Whether a Muslim needs to be patriot to his country or to the Ummah.

Whether crimes by one entity excuses the crimes by others. He claimed all the heinous crimes by the Islamic invaders throughout history don't justify the supposed crimes against the Palestinians. (Even though they are so much smaller in scale).

Then he proceeded to try to justify the crimes by Islamic invaders by the half baked and totally fake and unsubstantiated knowledge of Buddhism in India.

Leaving aside that he is false in the matter, why try to even use it to justify that bigotry when he himself claimed that it should not be done earlier.

Not very consistent our self acclaimed "Mr. consistent"! ;)

I think it is utmost essential that private players be encouraged to be engaged postively to create a mature small arms industry.... look a bushmaster.. Magpul... Colt.. Fabrique intl.. Smith and wesson.. glock... we need to follow this queue... this can be a break through industry for younger entrepreneurs to setup something good... startup gunsmithy is not very expensive compared to other defence industries

I think procuring the MMR radar from Israel as an interim option for Tejas might have some how delayed the progress of our own MMR... I hope Indo-Israeli alliance should not become into over reliance on Elbit and Rafael... We should recognize the areas where foreign co-operation is limited only to training and R&D.

Also may be IIT's GCOEP and leading universities have student exchange programs with Tel-aviv

This is not what we are discussing here. We are discussing your need to justify the brutal atrocities on your own ancestors and being apologists for their invaders.

What would you think if your Christians for example start "sympathizing" more for USA and UK and justifying the massacres of Muslims? Just because they changed their religion!

So, now one bigotry is justified by another?

Suddenly another flip flop?

Remember the example of Mongols? Was that all justified by what the Arabs did within themselves?

To take it further, would the Palestinian suffering now be justified by the Islamic brutalities?

Why? Not necessary! It's the private companies in the U.S. that build pretty much everything, no need to suppose that Indians can't be trusted unless they are a part of the public sector. The protocol of how such things are to be done needs to be established, that's all!
