This thread reached its death a long time ago.
Now we are just going in circles, with each side repeating the same thing over and over.

The thread started out about India-Israel relationship, then Kathric posted an article which raised the question of how it would be viewed by some unspecified percentage of Indian Muslims. Then an Indian Muslim proclaimed his support for the alliance, and the whole Islam angle took off. It should have been a short diversion but Indians took it as an opporunity to post a laundry list of all the evils done by Muslims throughout world history...

Pakistanis are just Hindu converts as far as we are concerned.

Some of us think of them as self loaths, who surrendered their identity to all comers and hate the people who didn't do that. They need constant reassurance that they did the right thing, like all others who also went through similar experiences .

They had nothing to do with that barbarity in India, they were the first victims of it. They were just weaklings who surrendered (or were made to surrender) and became apologists for those who persecuted them.

At best you can say we have contempt for that mindset. No hatred.

That part is only for the actions of Pakistan.

Pakistan strangely percieves itself as being the shield of the Muslim world. I wouldn't be surprised if in a 100 years time Pakistanis claim that Islam and the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) was born in Pakistan

The stubborn stance of Pakistan to refuse any dealings with Israel benefitted India. When the Islamic world realised that the state of Israel was a fact which could not be wished away and started doing business with Israel, Pakistan refused to consider invitations from Israel whilst India jumped at the opportunity. Now Israel to India is akin to China to Pakistan. Trade and military exchange growth, partners in many ventures and strong trust.
