The 'brilliance' of Wikipedia: about UMTAS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTAS:

According to Russian military sources, it is envisaged that the UMTAS missile will exceed the performance of the AGM-114 Hellfire (USA) and Spike-ER (Israel) missiles.[citation needed]

South Korea seems to be having the same political problem that India has; lack of spine. It is a more developed country, smart people and strong workforce and has an overwhelming edge over North Korea conventionally. I respect the South Koreans completely for their peaceful attitude, but it should not cross the limits where one cannot even defend oneself.

Personally saying, ROK should change its military doctrine before acquiring new weapons. This is applicable to India as well.

And BTW Turkey has a good potential in defense market. Considering that its exports exceed our own in terms of global supply of military systems, it can be a hub supplier of weapons to a lot of countries.
