We will make this bird put in service as quick as we could, first squadron maybe at 2014. When it comepares with F16BLK52, I would say, J-16 will prevail. No offend, cause we are ally, you will know in the future in the excericise we hold together. Indian will feel nervous if PAF get J16 AND J10b,especially J16.

india already acting ver nervous these days, cause they feel they still faraway getting RAFAELs in near future, & with china moving ahead with lightining speeds, sure pakistan will be ahead in any terms?
J-10A or J-10B with J-16s will put PAF the dangerous force in the entire region for sure & indian edge will be destroyed for long long time to come.
what about price friend!

how is a J-16 ratted higher thn a SU30 MKI?

As we all know, the selling price of J10b OR FC20 is around 40 millions per, and India need pay 90 millions plus for Rafale. Which means India need to pay twice as much as per Pakistan pay. Let us say in a conflict between India and Pakistan, rafale components need to fly half way of erath to arrive india for supplement before India could produce them by their own. Pakistan and China cooperation render huge advantage of replenishment in times of war.
As to the price of J-16, I think it will be very expensive. You can call it a standard 4.5 gen twin-engine fighter.

Pakistan should also look upon the saabs gripen . Its a beast which isnt too costly .

Dnt ever compare France tech with Chinese
Even Pakistan want France aviation for your own JF17 but they dint got that ....

So we are really happy with twice prize of rafale cause it worth it

dear yes, they are really good!
but they will very costly & un-reliable due to spares & supplies also thn we had to wait them around 5 years at least to arive & tobe a part of our flying force, so no they arent for PAF!
well thanks anyway!

No, the MMRCA contract stipulates that after a certain date (4 years after signing) MMRCAs and spares have to be produced in India. And anyway even if that wasn't true the flight time for India to France is what, 8 hours?? This is nothing. And don't forget India is getting at the very least 126 (3 times more than the proposed figure for J-16s) of more capable fighters so the advantage is clearly India. And all we ever here is rumour wrt J-11/J-16/J-10 and the PAF never agreed orders and yet members keep talking as if it is a foregone conclusion.

& you are happy to get them in year 2022 & above with so much to pay?

Indian MKI is a water down version, J-16 is mounted with AESA, Pave Pillar avionics layout, and made of composite material to enhance payload. Most importantly, all the parts of J-16 are made in China, which promise the consistent provision in times of war. Any way, J-16 is not intended for deal with India at the first place, its for Japan and USA.

with serious note, by 2015 if J-16s & J10BS WERE in paf, your edge will gone even you get the rafeals, dont you think that realisticly?
