The warplane example isnt right to compare the weapons. As weapons are an extention of self, so pitting two different person with different weapons is same as pitting two different person against each other. So it cannot be used as a method to guage the effectiveness of he weapon

If you are asking about the MIG-25 radar's system resistance to ECM, then vacuum tubes has nothing to do with that resistance. The system was powerful enough to achieve 'burn through' of most jamming AT THAT TIME. But the cost of that power were target resolutions, meaning all it could do was to tell the pilot the general direction of the target, not much more, and if there were multiple targets that are close together enough, the system could not distinguish them apart at all. We know this because we had time to study the MIG-25 in Japan before we returned it to the Soviets. You do not need vacuum tubes to simply transmit raw power.
