Is there anything wrong with a mother being called a Lord?



A mother is being praised. That's all that it means.

If you read my previous post, you'd know that the issue was not about calling the mother Lord, but the next verses which imply the mother being referred to are Hindu Goddesses. You are welcome to call God with whatever name you choose, that's none of my business.

But as @SOUTHie and@padamchen have clarified, the verses praising the Hindu Goddesses are not part of the modern version, and the mother being referred to is the motherland, i.e. India. Therefore, I don't see any reason why one can't sing it.

I am asking him about e cig being harmless.

To quit the smoking would be once and for all ...... with no going back, don't worry doc I have it in mind you never know tomorrow morning I am done with taking this step.

But vaping is way safer than smoking tobacco. I've tried the Nicotine drops. It's exactly the same as cig. Or say better, there will be better taste. e-cig only creates aerosol.

If you are trying to quit, go down this path. E-cig with Nicotine, then other flavors then quit.

Within 5 years of your quitting smoking completely, the magnificent human body completely reverses the effects of your past smoking.

To the level where your risks now are the same as that of a lifelong non smoker - statistically of course.

I recently got my chest x-ray and full body USG done by my own batch-mates at AFMC and they were quite pleasantly surprised to see the condition of my lungs.

That of a non smoker. (and I know how they've looked when I had a rib fracture in Dubai when I was still a heavy smoker)

Massive incentive.

Tobacco is ticket to cancer.

Anyway, many people vape to change the path, and who can't get over smoking cig. A better alternative is vaping.
