He definitely be referring to previous deal which was not materialized.

It's a one-year-old video. Had there been any such deal, we would have heard a lot more from different sources.

There was a time when people used to listen and take SR seriously but not anymore.

Hopefully it's just tall talk, if the J-10 is as good as it's claimed why has it had no export success. The Chinese will sell anything given enough money, makes one think why no major power goes for high tech Chinese equipment if it's cheaper than Western counterparts and allegedly is as good. Far better off getting upgraded F-16s or Typhoons like everyone else.

I'd rather bet on a cart which can be armed with an ashm, cruise missiles, aesa without Pre launch codes than an block umpteenth f16. If it wasn't for Musharaf's approach our Saab awacs would be lying dead in the hangars.

He never ever said the jets are coming to Pakistan. He might be implying that these jets that are now coming out of factories, we were evaluating them back in the days when they were being developed during Musharaf's reign.

It is human/donkey powered so this gives plenty of endurance. Speed may be low but it has plenty of loiter ability and the pilot does not even need zero zero seats.
