Shalwar Kameez is a Pakistani dress.
You know I do appreciate your clarity, sureness and "Pakistan-centric" nature of your thinking. We have one guy giving away the dress I saw my mum wearing, my grandmother wearing as "Patiala" thus ascribing it to India. Amazing.

.
Shalwar kameez have different styles and i personally would not limit food, dress, music to certain region as you have different variety and styles in Shlawar kameez and certain ethnic groups reside in boht India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and they share language, food, dress with slight variation etc ..Punjabi shalwar kameez is also bit different to what Afghan or baloch wear..also pashtun/afghan women have different traditional dress

Yeah it has different styles but when you say Qameez, the particular image that conjures up in one's mind is these (the bottom pics in your post)

I said other

Other: It is Pakistan's national dress.

For Indians maybe it's a Muslim dress? I really don't know nor I want to answer this question.

You could have said anything. We would have accepted because your will is all we need.

Yes.

It is my will to have a national dress inspired by a person's choice.

There is a religious reason there as well that's why we chose that dress as well.

As a punjabi sikh kurta pyjama for men and shalwar kameez for women never seen my mom wearing a sari but at weddings now you see some punjabi girls wearing them.

.
Its obviously Pakistani and not Indian or afghan. As far as I remember Pakistani women and men have worn shalwar kameez. And its not because of tv influence so this look like ancient dress. Traditional Indian women wear saris and afghan women wear that dress posted above.

Indian women are replacing saris because of bollywood.

Well, I never saw a punjabi women wearing sari other than punjabi bride wearing it on her wedding.
