I mentioned earlier that the burqa is a traditional Islamic attire, whereas the salwar is a dress traditionally worn by Punjabi women. Muslim men began wearing salwar during the rule of Maharaja Ranjit Singh to resemble punjabi women and potentially evade detection during attacks by Sikh soldiers.
Whoever it is worn by, man or women, it has nothing to do with you that's all I'm trying to tell you. Your women are supposed to be topless but you have been Islamized so much by 1000 years of Islamic rule that you are unable to keep yourselves undressed like true Hindus in Bali.
If Punjabi women created Salwar for themselves, then those ancestors must be non-Hindu women since no pre-Islamic female idols recovered from archeological sites in Pakistan are shown wearing Salwar.
