Since Egyptians also speak Arabic i wonder why Saudis don't hire them for labor in GCC's instead of importing South Asians who can't speak the native language and understand the culture?

Egyptians are the Second most numerous foreign nationality in Saudi Arabia. We hired them in masses in teacher and college professor jobs but now our Education has been completely Saudizied and the college professor jobs are being filled by Saudis by the bulk too.

An American who trained the Saudi army for the first time during the 70's use to say it was like teaching kids how to use a gun, during the gulf war Saudi's turned into teens, now maybe your guys have become adults your army isn't a joke and I hear plenty of them however you guys are improving.

The Roman army was full of hired mercenaries who themselves were Goths, Franks, and Vandals, which played a major role in the disintegration of Roman empire.

The Russians used their soldiers as cannon fodder, they would shoot their own soldiers if they retreated from the fighting.

I don't care as long as we get the beautiful Su-35 lol. But the decision is not up to me and most likely Chinese if the US does veto the Palestinian state.

Still, once you guys get those F-15s and Eurofighters, your airforce would a great help, and for the first time since the creation of Israel an Arab country would have an Airforce that can give Israel's airforce a good fight. Not because Arabs have bad pilots, but the technological gap was huge for the Arabs to overcome, and the training wasn't even that good.

As for Egyptian to work in Saudi Arabia, i think a lot of Egyptian do work in Saudi Arabia already, but as you all know due to over population, corruption, ect.., the Egyptian education system is way worse than before, and i sadly think it is harder for an Egyptian to get a job now, compared to the 20's, 30s, 40's, 50's, 60s, 70's and even 80's when Egypt had one of the best education system in the region, or the world before the 50's. it doesn't make sense for Saudi Arabia to hire Egyptians(which they already do) when they can get better and cheaper labor from some where else. Best case would be Saudi investing in Egypt education system, but i don't know if that could actually work.

I think the Saudi Military is ok however the best Arab Military is Egyptian Military, Egypt > Saudi Military, only thing Egypt Lacks is better weapons and a bigger defense budget which Saudi Arabia has.

Saudi Arabia needs to develop its own weapons. If Saudis can overcome the religious thing, Russia would be an excellent partner for Saudi-Russian Joint Venture. With the Saudi Financing and Russian State of the Art Technology, excellent weapons could be built for Saudi Air Force, Army and Navy.

Pakistan learnt the hard way not to rely on US and developed its own Fighter Aircrafts with Joint Ventures with China and the future looks bright for this relationship.
