Saudi beheads Indonesian girl again

There are some older generation of Japanese that believe in this and even consult with shamans or 'folk doctors' which we call as 'Miko'. These people are usually around Shinto shrines , Buddhist shrines, or in any village, town. But that is , in my view, an example of old outdated superstition.

I thought you were joking with me, @Bang Galore , but you were being serious, after all. I just can't believe that in this day in age, people still believe in 'witchcraft'. I thought that was something that was done by the Puritans in New England back int he early 17th century, not in the 21st century....

Superstition among people, however silly, is different. When a state takes that superstition to the level of being an executable crime, we are in the realm of the seriously crazy. Which is why I think cases of execution is such cases where there might or might not be a mental condition is pointless when you think what else that state is doing.

Gulf States have their own kind of legal and justice system and they are indeed working very hard to be very Sharia, hoping to please Allah.

Gulf States law is also full of mercy bringing forgivance to a whole new level, as shown below. Saudi is indeed mother of all Sharia on this earth.

Fayhan al-Ghamdi Saudi Sunni cleric who always preaches on TV, was accused of raping, torturing and killing his five-year-old daughter, Lama , has reportedly been released from custody after agreeing to pay "blood money".

Fayhan appears on Saudi Islamic programme frequently. He always tell people how to be good Islamically.

According to news reports, Al Ghamdi told the judge that Lama was behaving strangely and that he questioned her virginity. He went as far as to have a medical professional check that her virginity was intact.

In the end, Lama was found dead with extensive burns and bruises. Lama had one of her fingernails removed, the side of her head was smashed and the rest of her body was covered up. Lama’s rectum was torn open and that the abuser had attempted to burn it closed. Randa Al Kaleeb, a social worker from the hospital where Lama was said that Lama’s back was broken as well and that she had been raped “everywhere”.

In Malaysia too, but i believe that the victim has been tricked to consume nail/needles.

The nail is in the body and bone, impossible to be there by consuming those things using mouth.

I have personal experience about it. In West Sumatra in the old time, there was a black magic practice, one of the ritual is to consume young kid blood through black magic ( not even touch the victim). My aunt became so sick and become tiny when she was young, previously she was a fat good looking kid. After consultation with "a knowledgeable person" she becomes healthy once more.

Okay, wait a minute but I just want to say that "magic" is real. Even my mother has real experience. Grand mother of my grand mother in West Sumatra can control a tiger using magic. I dont know whether the tiger is actually a jin or a real one.

Behead? She should have been evaluated by a mental health professional and in the case if mental disorder was found, she should have been pardoned. The right of self defense in the case of abusive employers should be respected.

Its a normal thing there...don't get shocked. Almost all Indonesian and Filipino girls employed as family help are sexually exploited, and if anybody dares to speak they are dealt with. BTW if you ever go to the Saudi...do visit Chop chop square...you may have the opportunity to see a live execution.

The key is education ... But I'm surprised some Japanese still believe this shit...
I thought you guys have zero superstition.. Consider how advanced your country are..

Most country in 3rd world still believe in superstition , heck.. Even in Indonesia the elites and politician still believe on this crap..
Some people can make millions by selling "magic stone" or a healing water..
Or some people who being accuse as witchcraft also got public execution..

Ahmad Khatib - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ahmad Khatib
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shaikh Ahmad Khatib al-Minangkabawi (1860 – 1916) was a Minangkabau Indonesian Islamic teacher. He was born in Koto Tuo, Ampek Angkek, Agam Regency, West Sumatra on 6 Dzulhijjah 1276 H (1860 M) and died in Mecca on 8 Jumadil Awal 1334 H (1916 M).[1] He served as the head (imam) of the Shafi'i school of law at the mosque of Mecca (Masjid al-Haram). Many Indonesian Islamic reformist leaders learned from him, including Ahmad Dahlan, as founder Muhammadiyah and Hasyim Asyari, as founderNahdlatul Ulama.[2]

Although Ahmad Khatib was an orthodox Sunni Muslim, he still hoped to reconcile the matrilineal system in Minangkabau with the laws of inheritance prescribed in the Quran. Through his Minangkabau students who studied in Mecca and well as those he taught in Indonesia, he encouraged a modified Minangkabau culture based on al-Quran and the Sunnah.

His son, Sheikh Abdulhameed Alkhateeb, was the first Saudi Arabian ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. And his grand son, Fouad Abdulhameed Alkhateeb, was a Saudi Arabian ambassador, humanitarian, author, and businessman. In his capacity as a diplomat, he represented his homeland in Pakistan, Iraq, the United States of America, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Turkey, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Nepal, and finally as Saudi ambassador to Malaysia.

Biography
Khatib was born on 26 June 1860 in Koto Tuo, Agam. His parents were Abdullatief Khatib and Limbak Urai. In 1870 he attended Dutch's school then continued his study to Kweekschool in Bukittinggi.[3]

It's a mistake... Look at China, they have billions people... But they don't have policy sending their own people to abroad..

In this world! Only Philipine and Indonesia keep sending their own people, this"s what I call modern slavery!!
The government too lazy, they want instant money and instant jobs for their people and their own pocket!!
The government job is to provide jobs for their own people..

But these baboon in government is too god damn stupid and incapable in every ways handle this country..

Indonesia unlike other country, have abundant resources..

From oil, gas, gold, uranium, fertile land, they have everything!

Still the government can't cr8 jobs for her own people..

Indonesia is no China. The locals do not have business/education and government tradition. I saw 10+ roti bakar store side by side. The pace for the Chinese are not the same with the locals. There are no other faster way to absorb huge amount of uneducated worker than agriculture and exporting man power.

You guys need to chill out, its not an ethnic slur at all. For example we use Bangla for short for Bangladesh. Viet, Brit, Aussie, Sulu, and Pinoy. Malay-sial is slur. Indon don't mean anything.
Well i've travelled often to Sing and Malaysia, well most Malaysians are often use "Indon" to refer Indonesians, then i correct them, and i personally ok to that because they don't know what's the meaning.
