Are you trying to reason/talk some sense to shariah law? LMAO You are lucky you are Japanese, go to Saudi Arabia and then try challenge tht law and see what happens to your head.

I'll refrain from responding my opinion. I'd rather not say.

i wake up thankful for being Chinese and living in a secular, modern society, with womens ,minority and worker rights, and a legal system which is somewhat fair.

Well , saudi arabia is the centre/leader of the islamic world. Reason you will hardly see fellow Muslims(even those on this forum, well bar Iranians due mainly to their rivalry) criticise them so harshly, bar a few They do follow shariah law as well, something most Muslim countries agree with. So we shouldn't make such a big fuss about this, their country their laws. They can kill as many mentally ill patients as they like, i couldn't care less, its their country. :butcher::alcoholic:

A cheap, alternative, continuous and potable & powerful source of energy can only bring these slave masters to their knees. Till then..........????

That is why they are developing the King Abdullah Economic City, for when the oil is done. I think they are planning 5 new cities to be based on free trade And investment.

Considering that the Saudis execute so many people for witchcraft, you are really barking up the wrong tree. This is not such a surprising case, the arguments of whether someone is mentally unstable is not as clear cut even in countries like the U.S. with decisions going both ways. For people who would execute wannabe "Harry Potters", these kind of cases are not as abnormal.
How do you prove witch craft ? Can anybody just say so and so is a witch and they get burnt alive or beheaded or whatever?

I mean there is no scientific way to prove or disprove someone is a witch !

that is why half of india is working in those countries

I never consider these countries(Gulf n mullah type) worth of entire living species forget about human....
What is more disgusting is that a beheading of mental ill girl done in holy city medina ...
Life imprisonment would have sufficed n authorities could have allowed her to be cured n recover from illness during her imprisonment.... RIP......

I thought you were joking with me, @Bang Galore , but you were being serious, after all. I just can't believe that in this day in age, people still believe in 'witchcraft'. I thought that was something that was done by the Puritans in New England back int he early 17th century, not in the 21st century....

It is real in Indonesia, there are several case, and even medical treatment feel amazed of how so many nail can be inside a man body and even bone.

Some Indonesian still has this kind of knowledge. As a believer, inshaALLAH, I am under God protection.

There are some older generation of Japanese that believe in this and even consult with shamans or 'folk doctors' which we call as 'Miko'. These people are usually around Shinto shrines , Buddhist shrines, or in any village, town. But that is , in my view, an example of old outdated superstition.
