Go deal with Yemen first rather than Qatar. Turkey also has a naval base in Albania. They also have a base in Azerbaijan and also one in Somalia.
There is also plans to build a naval base in Sudan. So much for poor Anatolians am I right.
Your media once shared a video of Turkish commandos landing on a cliffs edge which defied reality and claimed it was Saudi special forces doing it hahahahahahaha
Have you taken a look at Yemen? We control 90% of it and all the gas, oil and main ports. What is left is densely populated landlocked northwestern Yemen which is mostly heavily mountainous and of little if not strategic worth. Have in mind that Yemen is a country home to almost 35 million people, heavily mountainous/difficult terrain and almost the size of Iraq and Syria combined. Notoriously difficult to control and Yemenis have kicked the butts of Ottomans many times. You even have songs about it.
Compare that with the joke of a tiny territory that Turkey "controls" in Northwestern Syria.
If not for the US military base (CENTCOM), Qatar would be a province of KSA today. If anyone is in doubt they are braindead. Much like Bahrain is de facto a Saudi Arabian province nowadays.
So do you really want to talk about Yemen, lol?
KSA has bases in Horn of Africa (Eritrea, Djibouti, Somaliland) as well. Horn of Africa is basically an extension of the Arab world in terms of historical influence. Nobody has more influence there than Arabs historically, culturally, linguistically, religiously etc. Arab minorities in Horn of Africa too. Many Arabized ethnic groups.
KSA brokered the peace between Ethiopia and Eritrea as well last year.
That naval base has been canceled lol. Sudan is firmly under KSA's influence.
Not sure what you are talking about, but Twitter/social media/journalism nowadays (given there are 1000's of so-called media) have a tendency to bullshit when it comes to military matters and that goes for every regional country. 99.9% of all journalists have no clue about military matters. I have seen clips from KSA attributed to other militaries as well. Does not mean anything.
